I just don't think it was their strong forte to do real hard songs , good Rocker's yes and Buttmunker's list as plenty of them DaveRam |

Very true. Really, only Helter Skelter can be called 'hard'. And that is really stretching it I think. It may, or may not have influenced heavy metal, but 'hard' is Tool, and Helmet, as far as I'm concerned. |

Let me rephrase, then. How about "heavy," as in a heavy feeling, or vibe? That's more along the lines of what I meant. |

At one point, Macca was going to have compilations released - as themes. One would be 'heavy' (I think that was his word), and the other would be the ballads. |
