I really think this album would have achieved even greater greatness with the addition of Paperback Writer, and Rain, and the omission of Yellow Submarine, and Got To Get You Into My Life.

While deliberately annoying you would indeed be a worthy goal  , the fact is, I love that song! Come on, it has this great lyric: Make love all day long/Make love singing songs. Excuse me? You can resist that? I can't. It goes in the player and I dance around to it and then I play it again. I know some people dislike the Indian sounds. Some of the Indian-influenced compositions aren't my favorite either (such as "Tomorrow never knows"), but this one certainly hits the spot for me. One in the gold from George for me. Cheers. |
