I don't think so.  I assembled (or should I say I tried to assemble) a CD called "The Best of George," and only got about 45 minutes worth of material.

The songs I picked were:

01: Piggies
02: Here Comes The Sun
03: Only A Northern Song
04: Something
05: You Like Me Too Much
06: Think for Yourself
07: Savoy Truffle
08: I Want To Tell You
09: If I Needed Someone
10: Its All Too Much
11: While My Guitar Gently Weeps
12: Taxman
13: Old Brown Shoe
14: I Me Mine
15: You Know What To Do
16: I Need You

I never liked "Long Long Long," so I left that aside.  Also wasn't crazy about "Don't Bother Me."

Any other George-penned songs I'm overlooking?

I take it you don't like the 'Indian' songs, so:

For You Blue

There's also Not Guilty, on Anthology, but personally I wouldn't put that on a best of.

I think it was more of an observation based on you not including most of his Indian-influenced songs on your collection. "Love You To" is one of my all-time favorites.

Anyway, here's an alpha-ordered list. Pick and choose as you like; it's your CD:

Blue Jay Way
Don't Bother Me
For You Blue
Here Comes The Sun
I Me Mine
I Need You
I Want To Tell You
If I Needed Someone
It's All Too Much
Long, Long, Long
Love You To
Old Brown Shoe
Only A Northern Song
Piggies
Savoy Truffle
Something
Taxman
The Inner Light
Think For Yourself
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Within You Without You
You Like Me Too Much

All you've got to do is choose love.  That's how I live it now.  I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden.  I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007

You wanted advice. Their were also other songs you left off. Other people can't guess what your taste is.

It doesn't sound like anything.  The recording is terrible, too, insofar as comparing it to the other songs found on Whitey.

You know its true when George claims Paul kept him down.  That's a pretty pitiful list of songs when compared to the body of work churned out by Macca and Lennon.

Or that George just wasn't up to it. You can't blame Paul for everything.

I think it's one of the most atmospheric tracks The Beatles ever recorded , but i know where your coming from i have a similar problem with The Long And Winding Road .
Georges output might have been small compared to John and Paul , but a good dozen of his songs from The Beatles era are still very well known ? And in writing " Something " alone he wrote a standard which as been recorded by the likes of Sinatra .

Ditto. I think it's one of George's strongest vocal performances as well. I don't see what you mean by" badly recorded."
And it sits so beautifully after Helter Skelter. I can't imagine one without the other

Well, to me is one of the most perfectly recorded Beatle tracks. I love the fact that after all that loud and crazy ending of Helter Skelter you just have turn up the volume of the stereo.
Long Long Long is one of my favourites of George, his best from the White Album.
