no particular order.
here are mine:
1) the accidental guitar feedback at the beginning of "I Feel Fine" (accident ??? maybe. maybe not. It always sounded cool by late '64 standards.
2) the fade-IN of "Eight Days A Week"--a song I didn't particularly like when I was a kid, but developed a fondness for over time.
3)The drum intros on "Rain" and "Something"
4)ALWAYS loved the very beginning of "Strawberry Fields" --sounds so old-fashioned, yet psychedelic (if that's possible lol)
5) George's "count in" to "Taxman"--(plus it being the first thing you hear on Revolver) "one ..two..three..(guitars and drums begin)"let me tell you how it will be..there's one for you nineteen for me.." Love it, thx george r.i.p brother. |
