i tried frantically to get tickets for this.It was impossible on the phone and website, both crashed as the roundhouse ridiculously tried to sell tickets for every gig in this series at the same time on the same day.

London is my home town so im determined to be there,even if i have to appall myself my taking the bastard tout route. the chance of seeing him in such a small venue is too good to miss, so im hoping that one way or another i will be there. how did you get your tickets?

Sorry for 'random' first post... Maccalennon did you have any luck in finding tickets to go see Sir Paul? I saw on newmusicexperience.com (BBC's) that David Arnold is playing at the roundhouse too. By the way can any of you spot Macca in that e-poster!?

Ah, it would be telling , the BBC Proms made some bad mistakes and we managed to get hold of some tickets! we were very lucky indeed!

I shall tell you now MaccaLennon, they said that on the day they might be giving out a bunch of tickets on the door so i hear, so if this is the case, you might want to come down on the day as you live so close and try your best to get in! theres always that chance, I showed up at the door for Pauls camden gig,  but wasn't lucky enough to get in, this time I have been!

keep trying! !

lol, i can't get tickets, they opened the ticket line a few days early by mistake, only for one evening and morning, so some friends picked up tickets for me and themselves, and then it was closed and we were still allowed them basically!

Hey McLennon you've got to pay me for your ticket yet!!

maccalennon there will be 100 tickets at 5 pounds each that you can register for about a week before the gig on the Roundhouse site, you then turn up on the day to collect!
hope you have success getting a ticket!

It 's only taken Macca 38 years to arrange that gig at The Roundhouse then!

Don't know if this is common knowledge, but just found this out:

The London tickets are all but sold, apart from 100 tickets priced at 5 quid each. If you want to be in with a shout for the £5 tickets, you need to register at the Electric Proms homepage one week before the gig.

Here’s the link;

I now am going via the extortion that is the tout route, but im not complaining. Im delighted to be going but it really pisses me off that touts buy up these tickets and real fans have to pay through the nose to go and see him.

Well, it's not like it's a new thing. It's very difficult to do over here, as tickets have your name printed on, and are scanned on entry.

Btw, Tony, I still can't get into Beatle Boards.

no its not new but i just think that since the arrival of the internet and ebay, it has become more difficult to get tickets for these gigs as ordinary people just see it as a business opportunity whereas before we were just completeing with a few ticket touts.

I didnt know you were having trouble  with beatleboards. whats happening?
