anybody heard it? I think it just ROCKS!

"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."

"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."

"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD

I didn't hear the Foo Fighters version, but I did hear a recent rock cover of "Band On The Run," and I mentioned it to a guy at work who loves the Foo Fighters.  I said to this guy, "dude, I heard a cool cover of 'Band On The Run,' a Paul McCartney song," and the dude replied, "man, Paul McCartney songs are hard to play."

I guess that's a great compliment to Macca.  Considering this "dude" is only really into bands and music that surfaced after 1990.  But he must have been aware of Macca only because of Foo Fighters covering one of his songs.  So here's to Foo Fighters for enlighting a non-Macca enthusiast.

I'll be seeking out Foo Fighter's version of the song.
