It's pretty generic, but they just always never fail to make me happy when I'm down. They turn   into  . Even the song I'm Down does that!

Definitly...I was at a really low point with music & life in general. Restricting smalltime record deal, hopes dashed etc etc....I was encouraged to perform local again & reunited with an old band-friend who was also going through a tough time. Together we discovered that we had progressed as musicians and were able to play quite a few songs very quickly. Then it wasn't too long before we had a good couple of sets.

The joy of discovering the chords & being able to play & sing them was an uplifting experience for both of us and I'm pleased to say, that 1st gig, where we imagined the punter stumbling upon a 'Lennon & McCartney' belting out duo renditions of their old faves in their local boozer was a good vibe to set. It was easy to pull off with passion as I had loved & listened to them all my life. Gotta say nice one Lee (John) for that.

I'm glad to also say that I'll be flying to Rome in November as a full Beatle ensemble, belting out my fave Macca numbers....On a sadder note it was also the Beatles that greatly consoled me when my mother passed.

Anyways....enough harpin on. Well, well, well we'll fix you indeed.

Yeah, the same with me. Their songs are pretty good to learn english, even teachers say that. And, sure, they make me happy when I'm sad, but, as DaveRam said, family is very important too in those cases.

I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't eat trash... I work out hard everyday and have a healthy life. And I'm proud of it.
