The members of Blur have reunited for the first time in years, the band has announced.
In a statement on their website, the group said they met to discuss future plans over "an enjoyable lunch".
The band have not been together since guitarist Graham Coxon quit in 2002, following a dispute with the other members.
The statement read: "Alex, Damon, Dave and Graham met for an enjoyable lunch on Monday, but there are currently no music plans for Blur."
The group first formed in 1989 and went on to become leaders in the Britpop movement of the mid-1990s.
Damon Albarn went on to achieve critical acclaim with side projects Gorillaz and The Good, The Bad & The Queen.
Graham Coxon has also found success as a solo artist while the other members have ventured into politics, writing and farming alongside music.
Well I know Sandra will also be pleased with the news! lol |
