What if there had been a Beatle Girl ? would they have been as big with a female member , and would you still have been a fan ?

I think it would have been a bit strange but the Smashing Pumpkins, all 3 of their bass players have been females.

Sorry The Swine i did'nt mean to post an irrelevant thread , i don't think i do as a rule ? and it's not my intention to spoil your enjoyment of the forum , so i will think very carefully in future before i post a thread for discussion .
Having said that there was a female presence towards the end of The Beatles and that was very relevant ?

This is a great question...with endless "what if" possibilities...

well...if Beatle "girl" had the talent and looks (to match her remaining male Beatle counterparts, that is)...sure, why not(let it be said though, I like things the way they are..but intriguing thought...)

my choices for "what if" "Beatle girl" :

1)Natalie Manes of The Dixie Chicks (she is DEFINITELY talented beyond words and as rebellious as John Lennon himself !!)
2)Stevie Nicks
3)Susanna Hoffs

just fantasy.......

I would throw in Chrissy Hynde, Joan Jett, or Suzi Quattro.

But it never would have happened ... early 60's and all.

Wow, that's a funny thought. I don't think they would've been as big, 'cause we love "our boys". If there was five members, with John, Paul, George, Ringo, and a chick, I'd maybe still be a fan. But if the girl replaced one of them....NO!!!

And my choice for the female member? ME!!!!
