I can't believe how I've never read about this!! The Magical Mystery Tour EP charted in the UK (sure!) and reached #2 right behind 'Hello Goodbye' in late-1967! If the EP would reach #1, the '1' album could include 6 extra tracks, which is, all the tracks from the EP. Or only the A-side of the EP 'was' #2?
I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't eat trash... I work out hard everyday and have a healthy life. And I'm proud of it.
An EP, didn't have a recognised A and B side in terms of sales. The name of the EP was what was listed in the EP chart. The chart ceased to exist at the end of November 1967, hence the EP's inclusion in the singles chart. So you're right, there could have been 6 more songs on '1'.
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.
