I am a firm disciple of Thin Lizzy's Live and dangerous, followed closely by David Bowie's "Stage" and Bowie's farewell ziggy gig at the Hammersmith odeon. My Death is Bowies finest hour, period. I love it.

Trouble I have with L & D is that it was so overdubbed in the studio, it's hardly live at all. Van Morrison - It's Too Late To Stop Now. |
| I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him. |

Wings Over America |
| "Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."
"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."

Another vote here (from a big Who fan) for Live at Leeds. I think Live at Leeds is best heard on the one cd reissue from 1995 which is all the non Tommy portion of the show plus Amazing Journey and Sparks in an excellent mix. For an excellent live Tommy and some tracks not featured on Live at Leeds I also recommend the Who's Live at the Isle of Wight 1970 2 cd.

The Doors have a few more live archive releases on the way this year, Pittsburgh 1970 should be out around May and New York 1970 later in the year which I believe may be a three or four disc set. |

Cool. I got Live in Boston Live in 1970 a while back which is pretty good, although Morrison is drunk through most of the show, the band are on top form! I hope they don't keep releasing loads or my money will start running out |

I think Pittsburgh and NYC will end BMR's Absolutley Live full shows series but then there's plans for releases of some 60's stuff. |

I have no idea! I'm not a big fan of live albums. Of all I have, my favourite is Tripping The Live Fantastic! Anyway, I've readed that one of the greatest live albums (if not the greatest) is Peter Frampton's 'Frampton Comes Alive!'. Does anyone have this album? |
