I've been listening to Anthology 1 nd I've heard some real cool songs they did like 3 Cool Cats, and also Shout which I think they shouldve done. I think if they put these songs instead of songs like "Everybody's Trying to be my baby" and "Honey Don't" that an Album like Beatles for Sale would've been better.  Are there any other song you wish the Beatles would've done?

I like " Leave My Kitten Alone".

Also - "Clarabella", "Lucille", and "Ooh My Soul" - all sung by Paul on Anthology in Little Richard style, and some of my favorite Beatle recordings ever!!

Also - "Bad to Me", by John. Don't know where I've heard that one.

I love John,
I love Paul,
And George and Ringo,
I love them all!

Lennon wrote it, and gave it to Billy J. Kramer.

and the Dakotas. Yeah, great song. But I thought that was mostly a Macca tune...not sure.

My choice(s) would definitely be these two that Paul gave to Peter & Gordon :  1)Woman 2) I Dont Want To See You Again. P&G did definitive versions of them both (IMO), but I always imagined what they would've sounded like from the "horse's mouth", so to speak..

'Come And Get It' would have been cool although Badfingers version sounds exactly the same.

It would. Considering some of the sh*t that's on there, it's amazing it wasn't used.

that would have been good instead on Maxwell on Abbey Road. even though it's
demo by paul, it's just so good!

because Macca demanded Pete Ham & Tom Evans follow his demo for the song exactly as he did it.

Not that they really should've recorded/released it, but I'd love to have heard their take on 'Incense & Peppermints'.

Also, "Like Dreamers Do"(Who wrote that song?)
and Besame Mucho

Seriously, what were they thinking? I Mean, I now they were in a rush job, but the song selection on Beatles For Sale is pretty bad, why couldn't they choose songs like these?

Lennon/McCartney.

I heard the Fourmost Hello Little Girl some days ago, god it was awful.
Were Lennon / McCartney that checky to give their crap songs away.
though the Decca Audition of the song wasen't too bad.

They almost always gave away the songs that somehow didn't fit to themselves, or not anymore. Though there's people around who believe they should've included songs like You Know What To Do, One And One Is Two and Hello Little Girl on one of their albums.

wow...you mean the old "Strawberry Alarm Clock" thing ? yeah...great choice. I'm sure the Beatles version would've sounded more polished and a lot less dated..but the theme of the song was RIGHT UP THEIR ALLEY lol...psychedelic, man !!
