I was listening to Good Day Sunshine on my Ipod, when I noticed an oddity I've never heard before. As Mccartney sings the line "She feels good" (1:25) Lennon is heard repeating the same line in a low mutter (1:26). It's pretty low in the mix, but once located sounds quite clear. Anybody else heard this leak? Or does anybody have any other interesting examples? |

Had a listen but can't hear what he says apart from 'she...'. Sounds a bit more like Ringo to me, but he probably wouldn't have been miked up for vocals. I'll check out the stereo and mono versions on the Purple Chick Deluxe version to see if it's any clearer. |

OK, I just listened to a few bootleg versions, and on 'Revolving' it sounds like Ringo saying 'She fucking is'. Very difficult to hear though. |

well the Ringo variation would be more interesting if it's so |

Can't be sure, though it sounds more like him to me. I'll listen to a few more versions tomorrow. Revolver isn't part of Capitol Albums Vol 2 by any chance? Might be worth a listen if it is. |

This is from What Goes On (The Beatles Anomalies List):
1:26 Someone (John? Ringo?) quietly repeats "She feels good" This appears to trigger something closely approximating a chuckle from Paul in the next line.
Listening closely on the CD, it sounds like Ringo or John saying "She f**ing does" or "She feels nice". The last word is definitely not "good", it ends in an "esss" sound. Also heard by David Gulczynski.
John Sinclair refers to the version on "Give My Regards To Broad Street" and says "that it is ‘she feels good’ repeated."
On Paul McCartney’s Get Back video (1990 tour), a live version is performed, where he sings the second "she feels good" very clearly, showing the intention to repeat the line.
So maybe he laughed because the line was meant to be repeated, but in fact on this recording, it became twisted into something new?

I've listened to the Purple Chick mono and stereo versions, and I'm convinced it's Ringo. You can't really hear the last word, but the more I've heard it, the more I think he's saying 'she fucking...' Probably 'is', or 'does'. Unless somebody wants to give a tape to CSI we'll never know! |

I know what you mean!! i've looked up this song's lyrics so many times trying to find it out and i thought i was listening too hard im guessing its Ringo but it could possibly be John doing his low voice he does all the time, like on the bathroom scene on help! when they are laughing. |

John is saying "she f-ing does". I don't know if it's been said already. songfacts.com is actually a good place to get the info on their songs. but besides all that I love that song. http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=108 |

For me it's no more reliable than Wiki. Anyone can leave a comment on there and say what they think it sounds like. As far as I know, no-one has yet worked out exactly who said what. |

Yes. I've added facts to songfacts and I'm always wrong. (I'm still fighting The Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds picture fight. I try and refute it wherever I get the oppotunity.) |
