There were the coolest, least pretentious group of musical geniuses who truly brought out the best in each other. They were never content to rest on their laurels. And though they were human, like all of us with our faults and foibles, they seemed to promote love, unity, tolerance, understanding and freedom in their work. Not much to argue with there.
-They can completely 100% switch by mood from this: to this: -I feel very proud and honored to play the same notes, chords, and songs they did on guitar -What else would I be doing right now, and every single day? They're my life. -I've become interested in other people and bands because of them -John has a kick-butt rock 'n' rolly voice and he's an amazing songwriter -They cause you to meet a new friend (ever notice how all of their fans are usually nice people?) -They serve as heroes in many ways and a lot of us wanna be just like 'em -Paul has the honor of being my first and only crush (don't get me wrong though, they all are VERY good-looking!) and he's one of the best bassists ever with a beautiful voice -Their music is the soundtrack of our lives, you find a song to fit ANY situation -George, in my eyes, is the best guitarist of all-time, "Something" alone proves it -I never get bored with them, their music, books, movies... -Ringo's drum beat is just perfect for the Beatles and he's just an all-around awesome guy -None of them could ever be replaced by someone else, those four guys were meant to be! -They're all four funny, charming, cool, and great people that aren't spoiled by fame -Every time I see their faces or hear their voices, I smile
Great thread, by the way!

Aw, what a nice thread!
You could say the Beatles invented MTV. They were almost entirely responsible for kicking off the British Invasion. Sgt. Pepper is often referred to as the most important album in the evolution of modern rock n' roll.
Everyone talks about them even almost 40 years they disbanded. Every place they were is now a real myth. Their records are available even in the crapiest record store. (I know that! ) You couldn't turn off the radio if one of their songs is being played. (At least that happens to me)
I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't eat trash... I work out hard everyday and have a healthy life. And I'm proud of it.
they saved me from losing my mind they are the only band i can watch and listen to for hours without getting the least bit bored there is so much to be learned from them they brought peace in my life when i needed it the most gave me a completely different outlook on life they brought me to this fabulous website!!!
and i must add that . . . THEY ARE THE SEXIEST HUMANS TO EVER WALK THE EARTH!!!

For me they're the best group of the 20th century. Paul Mc Cartney is the true bass god. I never get tired of listening their songs. I am the walrus is just fantastic Strawberry fields forever transports me to a wonderful place. They are the band with more songs in my iPod.
"I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together . . . ."
One of the greatest opening lines of any song ever. A line that both epitomizes the 60s youth rebellion religious questing yet later the song seems to deconstruct the whole idea.
The Beatles make be feel part of something bigger at the same time make me feel more myself.
They make the 60's , such a standout decade . They look so cool in black and white film. They produced such quality recordings in such a short space of time , the mind boggles , and you don't need drugs to appriciate the fact , they took them for you
The Beatles gave me the biggest inspitation in my life.....to play and write music Everyone of them is a hero in his own rite. Nearly all of the songs they wrote where happy and made you think about what was around you. Great hair Great guitars Johns wit was sublime......the sharpest and funniest man ever. Its amazing to think that, since the Beatles no-one has ever came close and never will i reckon.
