For the past 3 or 4 months, the forum readiing pane freezes for about 30 seconds (sometimes longer) after each page load. So it makes it really difficult to browse topics here in work (not that it matters much now as I am losing my job at the end of January!!!), which is one of the reasons I'm not here much at lunchtime anymore. I'm guessing it's a browser issue (Internet Explorer 6) as the forum loads fine on my Mac at home.
Various problems, but not that one. There always seem to be a whole host of little problems associated with forums, unless the forum is computer related! It could be that your company's service provider doesn't handle the software very well that is used in the make up of this particular forum. But then I could be talking bollocks as usual. I have a few ongoing problems (Mac/Firefox), chief of which is the sometimes very late arrival of e-mail notification. I guess it's a forum problem because if I send a mail from Yahoo, to my Pop 3 account, it arrives instantly. I also frequently have pages loading very slowly, but not freezing completely.
Shame Dmitry isn't around much at the moment. Hope he's alright.
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.
