I was googling for info on Jimmy today when I came across this site

http://cousinsvinyl.com/2008/follow-up-on-jimmy-mcculloch/

and as I am reading that follow up, I noticed that I (my youtube name WinoJunko76) was mentioned! I just thought that that was the coolest thing in the world.

The user who published the interview and some other McCulloch stuff’s handle is WinoJunko76, ironically a Wings song on Wings at the Speed of Sound about substance abuse.  This guy’s obviously a fan and the person you need to send a message to for any info or video on the subject of Jimmy McCulloch.

"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."

"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."

"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD

I think it's pretty cool! I wish I had something tricky to ask you.

Nice one Paul. You know, there's a question I always meant to ask you, but never got around to. Why Jimmy McCulloch? Apart from a few years as a sideman to McCartney, and a hit single with Thunderclap Newman his career seems to have been largely unremarkable. I'm not knocking him, or his talent, I just wondered what he inspires in you?

I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.

I think I am so interested in him because his career was tragically cut short and he is such a mysterious figure. His story is quite intriguing.
