John sang on it, and he was notoriously bad at remembering the words.

Most of these look like the lyrics he wrote for himself to remember whilst recording.

I think you're right there. The original (and quite awful) handwritten lyric to In My Life are in the British museum. The ones on this site seem to be the later corrected version. I like the way he signs it off with pound signs.

That's the Parlophone logo. The German letter 'L'.

Thank you! Great site! I was familiarized with the ones from the JL/POB album, because they are included across the booklet...  I thought 'Drive My Car' was written by John and Paul together...
