I think they should ask Paul to write the theme song for the new James Bond film " Qauntum Of Solace " he did a brilliant job with Live And Let Die , what do you think could he do another ? I understand the Bond people are after Amy Winehouse , but i think Paul could do a better job ?
I am sure he'd do a great job. Has there been anybody who's penned the Bond song more than once?
"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."
"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."
"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD

Shirley Bassey has sung the theme song 3 times. John Barry has been composer, or co-composer on no less than 10 occasions. Don Black has also been co-composer on 4 occasions.
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.

Shirley Bassey as sang three of them Goldfinger ,Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker ,so i suppose Paul could do another ? Bond in the new film is a broken man after the death of Vespa in Casino Royale he's out for vengence , sounds right up Paul's street after his recant troubles Im not sure Amy could find the mike to sing at the moment ,although i understand she's now in rehab so maybe it will be her. ? A big ballad from Paul would be great with a big rocking end ?
It's got to be Shirley Bassey for me. She is the Bond theme!
yeah that was my second, i think the ladies do the bond theme's better than the guys, it aint quite the same when they guy is singing about him and trying to big him up or make him sound dangerous and sexy lol.
I tend to agree that the Bond theme's are better by women singers , but i think the best by a man is the Wings one it came in second to Bassey's Goldfinger in a recent TV programme i saw to find the best Bond theme song .
Regrettably, if I were in charge of the Bond franchaise, I would be keen to pursue the hip new image born from Casino Royale. That would include using an artist that is "now" (excuse me for that) and having a song that stands a chance of being played on yoof radio. That would mean automatic disqualification for Macca and his ilk. I suspect too his hit writing days are over. Now where is Amy's phone number?
