"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."
"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."
"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD
Hm well he hasn't released one for 21 years so maybe it's time for another one? Or maybe he should wait till his career is finished and then release an anthology type thing.

People, if you think about it, we still don't have a definitive Paul McCartney retrospective. "Wings Greatest" is far from that, just an LP released even before Wings disbanded, "All the Best!" remains really unfinished, and "Wingspan" is just a Wings compilation adding 4 years of Paul's solo career.
I hope the new album will be as the compilation I made 2 years ago - "Ultimate McCartney" ha! A career retrospective with 40 songs chronologically listed. From "Maybe I'm Amazed" to "Jenny Wren". He could release a 2-CD retrospective career album, or maybe a 1-CD greatest hits, maybe under the concept of "#1's", but he didn't achieve number-one hits since "Hope of Deliverance" in 1993 (#1 in Germany), so I don't know what's gonna be. Maybe is a CD version of "The McCartney Years" .
I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't eat trash... I work out hard everyday and have a healthy life. And I'm proud of it.

He's only ever had 4 No.1's in Britain, post Beatles, so maybe he should release an EP.
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.

Cool, what was the playlist for the one you made, or at least some of the songs?
Yeah, I like the idea of a truly definitive album that spans his entire career. I look forward to anything new that comes out.

On July 8th 2007 I wrote about that album I made:
Ultimate McCartney / Greatest Hits 1970-2006
CD 1 (70-79) 1: Maybe I'm Amazed (the studio version from McCartney) 2: Another Day (his first single, I supposed that this one was not good enough to be the first track of the collection, that's because I put Maybe I'm Amazed as the opener) 3: Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey 4: Give Ireland Back To The Irish 5: Hi, Hi, Hi 6: C Moon 7: My Love 8: Live And Let Die 9: Helen Wheels (or, as I sing it, 'Heather Mills' ) 10: Jet 11: Band On The Run 12: Junior's Farm (my mistake here was to choose the DJ edit, when the full version could be fit) 13: Listen To What The Man Said 14: Silly Love Songs 15: Let 'Em In 16: Mull Of Kintyre 17: With A Little Luck (the DJ edit, the album version is too long!) 18: Goodnight Tonight 19: Wonderful Christmastime This CD's lenght is 77:40!
CD 2 (80-06) 1: Coming Up (the studio version) 2: Waterfalls (the DJ edit) 3: Ebony And Ivory (the single edit, with an early -really short- fade-out) 4: Take It Away (my own edit, with a quite strange mix in its intro, because I took the original version from the 'Tug of War' album which is mixed along with the final chords from the title track, so this one sounds a little weird) 5: Say Say Say 6: Pipes Of Peace (the single edit) 7: So Bad 8: No More Lonely Nights (the single edit) 9: We All Stand Together 10: Spies Like Us 11: Press (not the single edit, because I can't found it!) 12: Once Upon A Long Ago 13: My Brave Face 14: This One 15: Hope Of Deliverance 16: Young Boy 17: The World Tonight 18: No Other Baby (because of time restrictions, I haved to make my own edit, editing the track from 4:17 to 2:29, it sounds nice) 19: Freedom (OK, this was a big mistake. I should have put 'From A Lover To A Friend' if I wanted to put something from the 'Driving Rain' album... But my mum love this one) 20: Fine Line 21: Jenny Wren (the studio version, I should have put the single edit...) The lenght of this second CD is even more impressive than the first one: 79:54!!
Every track was mastered (by me, sure) making a really good work with the handful of tracks that I don't have in CD and I've downloaded. Of course I made a nice 8-page (just 8-page...) booklet for the set, including a lot of info from every track, including recording/releasing dates, musicians for every track and three photos from the Chaos and Creation sessions.
I think it's a pretty good collection. The quality sound is stunning and the selection is quite good. But at this point I think "Tug Of War" should be instead of "So Bad". Whatever...

I was listening to the album today, and it's really cool the idea of travel through an entire career of 4 decades in only 2 hours and a half. Paul had so many hits, and so many good records. I think this new compilation could be really good.
