Kate keeps reappearing out of the blue, and then promptly disappearing again.

"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."

"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."

"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD

I'm not near as active as I used to be. There just hasent been anything happening here for awhile. I mean how many more pictures of the Beatles can people post. Those type of topics should be axed. Its stupid. 'Google' the pictures if you have to see them. Its a waste of space.

Anyways, I miss the times when Ydoll, Charlie, Coleen, Al, PC, and everybody else debated topics and it meant something. I understand everything runs in circles and that time is over, but it just seems stale right now. Maybe we've talked about almost everything there is to talk about with the Beatles. Who knows. As it is, i'll stay in the background as I have been for quite some time.

Well, since I missed Ydoll, Charlie, Coleen, Al, PC, and everybody else debating topics, I just have to make do with whoever is still around and interested. I do enjoy your contributions, Tkitna, as well as others. When we don't agree is when it gets more interesting.

we probably have covered everything there is to talk about but there's always someone new with there thoughts on the subject, but its just whether you/me/we can be bothered debating or discussing the same discussion.

it had been slow of late i think the survivor game also kept things ticking along

I was thinking of doing a quiz. A kind of Beatles mastermind, to encourage some activity. But half the people who played the Song Survivor just came on for that, then promptly disappeared again. So many long term regulars didn't contribute. I think the effort of putting a decent quiz together (I mean decent - easy questions, tough questions, picture questions, soundbites etc.) isn't worth it.

Maybe I'll suggest it, and see how much interest there is.

I joined this forum in June 2005 and Charlie and Colleen had already left by then. Ydoll was around, but the discussions that (s)he was involved in, were more about using the right words and grammar if I remember correctly. PC is still around and stirring up the dirt and Al is quite busy with his own forums. People come and people go. I must admit I never watch the beatles pics thread, but why can't new people post pictures like the older ones did three years ago? And maybe it's not such a bad idea to dig up older threads, just because of new people around. The Beatles and their music are still alive today and that will give us more than enough stuff to discuss, relevant or not.

There are always threads like this. Even back then there were threads like this. Where did all the people go and why isn't anyone posting and so on. Things change. And I mean really, do we need to go back to a time of multiple Wayne threads, split personalities, and hairy boobs conversations? I think not!

Although it was pretty entertaining. In a strangely psychotic way of course.

I'm pretty new here. I don't expect life changing experiences when I log on, so it's OK by me. And even though I know more about the Beatles, LOTS more, than anyone I know personally, I'm near the bottom of the food chain here, so I learn new stuff fairly often which for me makes the forum great.

And stuff like the Wyvern (sp?)Social Club c. 1960 article really is great, by Blue Meanie (never did get a reference on that one though ... did you write it BM, or forward it along from another source?).

And then the fantastic artwork by fendertele, renewed with new pics at an astonishing rate ... completely awesome, and how does he do that?

And links in sigs that bring me to new universes, like pc31s, those are wonderful too.

And of course all the other wonderful stuff like the games, news releases, and the like.

So, no complaints at all here. For me, these are the good old days!

I love John,
I love Paul,
And George and Ringo,
I love them all!

I like to make you feel happy, Harihead!

I think Billy Joel also did a version of that line. Well if he didn't, we  at least know that he (in the 70s and 80s at least) did not have an aversion to doing many lines, of one sort or another!

At least it gave me the opportunity to use my rolling pin happy face! Which I've been dying to do for some reason. Other than that you know I'm just givin' you a hard time! I'm glad you and some of the older members are still around. I hate when people suddenly disappear!

Ok , i must get it off my chest and i`ll tell you the rest .
You would have never guess that miss Scully is a kite fan , and she reads my stories man! and all the other glories i have in store, you see that Mulder he`s a bore , in the sack department , and scully she came to me and she knew what was in store , and as i laid on the floor all greased up and ready for more , she put on the white shirt and black dress , and by now i was a mess, and before you could say "move over Mulder , and let Kitie takeover" i woke up !
A bloody earthquake in north west of Manchester ! , well there you go , and so did my fantasy !!
