Does anyone know this 1982 song, " Everywhere That I'm Not,"
by SF-LA band, Translator?

Here is a youtube link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ9TfJjKHUM

Translator's low budget (but cool) video seems to be a subtle homage to the Hamburg days. And this was twenty six years ago. I think the Philip Norman book, "Shout," had just come out.

Translator were way ahead of their time as far as being re-interested in the Beatles early days. On their second album (or single) in 1983 they do an ultra authentic version of "Cry for a Shadow."

It was SO authentic that Beatlefan Magazine in 1996 said it was recorded by the three then surviving Beatles for the Anthology series.

By the way, Translator's first two albums were produced by David Kahne, who also produced two of Paul's  records.

The things you can find on youtube.
