SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY has patched up his broken friendship with former WINGS bandmate DENNY LAINE - nearly 30 years after they fell out. The ex-Beatle formed Wings with his late first wife Linda, guitarist Laine and drummer Denny Seiwell in 1971 - one year after the Fab Four's split was officially announced. MCCartney and Laine came to blows in 1980 after the singer's arrest for marijuana possession by Japanese customs officials forced the band to scrap their planned tour of the country. But the 65-year-old has since made up with Laine, with the pair meeting up in December (07) to enjoy a U2 concert in London.
It's been a Hard Days Night & i've been working like a dog!
"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."
"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."
"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD
It will never happen without Linda. I do know that Denny, Laurence Juber and Denny Seiwell did a one off Wings reunion at a Beatles Fest in Las Vegas last summer I think. Paul wasn't interested in participating.

As far as my sources go: "This album is Laine's third solo album and was released at the end of the time with Wings. Originally released in 1980 as Japanese Tears, shortly after Wings' tour of Japan was cancelled due to Paul's imprisonment. The original titletrack tells the story of an excited Japanese fan, followed by the ultimate disappointment. Laine used old and new material for this album, with three own compositions with Wings, but also the never released Send Me The Heart, written together with Paul McCartney, I Would Only Smile and Weep For Love. Also rerecordings of Go Now, that Denny often sang at Wings' concerts and Say You Don't Mind, a song by Laine from 1967 and brought to the British top 20 in 1972 by Colin Blunstone. Other highlights are two songs, recorded by the Denny Laine Band with Steve Holly on drums on Denny's wife Jo Jo on background vocals."
