1974 was a great year for Paul McCartney and Wings , three brilliant singles doing very well for him and the band on both sides of the Atlantic , " Jet " , " Band On The Run " and " Junior's Farm " , all three are classic records , so which was your favourite ? and why ?

Junior's Farm..obvious reasons

"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."

What? You should have heard 'Band On The Run' a million times by now just by accident I would have thought.

Anyways, I choose 'Juniors Farm' but 'BOTHR' is probably the best song out of the three. Its close to epic in my opinion. 'Jet' I can do without. Its wore out its welcome with me. Sick of it.

I shouldn't be allowed to vote because I'm just not a McCartney or Wings fan. For whatever reason, I'm not in the target audience.

I enjoyed the energy of " Jet ", but its nonsensical lyrics meant I could never warm to it. " Junior's Farm " I have always hated with a passion. " Band On The Run " is a cute idea and has some interesting music, so I went with that. I like the humor in it and the change between the intro and the body of the song.

Junior's. Great rocker. The other two sound very dated to me now.

I picked Junior's Farm because as a single I like it better. I don't really enjoy the album versions of Jet and Band on The Run as much as I use to because I think the live versions perfect them.

Band on the Run. Of course.

I think 'Helen Wheels', which was at the tail end of '73 beats the lot of them.

'Junior's Farm.' It's one of those ones I used to turn up to a ridiculous volume every time it came on my car radio. (Still do, actually.)
