getting any material together at all is an achievment in itself, let alone of their combined quality and the skills required to get the music exposed.I would even go and say music is a higher form of spirituality than man made religions as it is the force of communication that they all employ to spread joy & fulfillment.
I love all of this. Yes, there are many forms of excellent spirituality which have nothing to do with religion. That elevation of spirit, the wish to create, grow, spread good feelings-- that's pretty keen. One of my favorite phrases from the Bible is "You shall know them by their fruits." This is a good litmus test for any endeavor. What do people say, and what do they actually do? Anyone can pay lip service to some popular idea. If what you really create ends up being a positive force in people's lives, you win the prize!
Too often those who don't create anything end up being critics. Nothing wrong with it, really, except so many of them are negative and demeaning towards those who do create something. Doesn't seem much of a tasty fruit to me.
All you've got to do is choose love. That's how I live it now. I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden. I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007
For all I know, Ringo might be a yogi disguised as a drummer! - George Harrison
When you identify the devil in something, you identify the devil in yourself.
I havent said hello yet so I shall say hello Bill.
Very profound mon ami... The Kingdom of heaven is within and the Devil & God exist in all of us. Strung together a bit of funkladelic with abit of yin yan theory in there you'll notice. heheh
Tell you what Bill. it's a right rouser article you found there. I hope you may have exOrcised the pen thats mightier than the sword on him! Was there any feedback or reply to this article elsewhere?
Why validate anything that person has to say by quoting or posting him on another website? It's complete trash. And didn't Charles Manson already cover this ground?
If it were written as comedy though, it'd be pretty damn funny. "Paul has a big inferiority complex as a man, due to his effeminate face, body and personality" That's comedy gold.
Hey, and if it were true, we could just add it to their long list of accomplishments: ... 64. Best-selling musical group of all time, estimated by EMI to have over one billion discs and tapes sold worldwide. 65. Have had more number one albums than any other group. 66. Responsible for the disintegration of mankind!
Wait a minute. I wanted to be the anti-Christ! *pouts*

By the way, don't be surprised if I fall down on my half of the bargain. Anti-christs are not generally known for their honesty.

Mmm, maybe you're right. The pouting concerned me as well. We're trying to cower and awe folk here, and coming over all prissy just wouldn't cut the mustard.
I'm a Christian and I think this article is total rubbish.
IF George was a satanist then why would he write "My Sweet Lord", "Dear One", "Life Itself"...? It's still good for a laugh, though... here's a link to a similar article, in case you want to laugh a little more... http://www.stargods.org/BeatlesEvil.html
