Quoted Text
Ringo Starr has announced a whole new run of cities for his forthcoming US tour with his all-new all-Starr band.

25 cities including New York, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles have been added to the tour.

The all-Starr band this time around included Men At Work's Colin Hay, Edgar Winter, Billy Squier and Gary Wright.

"My live shows are a peace-and-love fest. That's my main promotion, really," Ringo said in a statement.

The "other" promotion is the release of his new album 'Liverpool 8'. It is bound to get a bash in the set-list. However, all of the guests do their hits too, so expect to hear a Men At Work song, Billy Squier's 'The Stroke' and Gary Wright doing 'Dream Weaver'.

The tour kicks off in Niagara Falls on June 19 and goes through until August 2nd at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

He's playing the Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville.  I'm looking into tix, but not wild about Billy Squier--although Edgar Winter seems interesting as does Gary Wright.

Hopefully they will come to northern California.  I could go down to Los Angeles but thats a mission.  I'm sure it would be worth it though.

Just did a little research online and they will be coming to my area in July!  I am very excited!  Can't wait to get paid so I can buy my ticket.  Now I just have to wait for Paul to come through, which if the rumor is true should be sometime soon
