One Beatle song book says John wrote I'm Only Sleeping about himself. Alot of books and other resources of mine state this. But on Beatle Brunch a while back, they mentioned John wrote it about Paul. so who do I believe? Anybody got any information about this song?

I've always thought he wrote it about himself; it's very much of a piece with other "John" songs like "Nowhere Man," "Good Morning, Good Morning," and especially- and obviously- "I'm So Tired." Can't say where the Beatle Brunch person got that idea from.

being lazy suits john, it has to be about him.
