There's a couple of threads about Paul's compilations that now I want to talk about this one! You like this album? I absolutely love it! Reminds me that wonderful day when I bought it along with 1970's McCartney -- those were my first 2 Paul albums, and then I realize that I needed to buy his entire catalog (I'm in the middle of that ).
Here some nice pictures from the different editions of All The Best!

US CHART RUN [i]Date: 19/12/1987 - Run: 120-72-72-*62*-62-62-68-72-82-95-99-109-110-129-140-167-163 (17 wks)
In the US it was #62 and it was knocked-off the top spot by everybody. Certification: 2xPlatinum
The album was released on November 2, 1987 in the UK, the SAME DAY as George Harrison's "Cloud Nine". Isn't it funny? Even more interesting is this fact: "All The Best!" reached #2 in the UK album charts, and its single, "Once Upon A Long Ago", #10. (Last Paul's Top 10 single...) "Cloud Nine" did exactly the opposite: it reached #10 in the UK album charts, and its lead single, the huge hit "Got My Mind Set on You" was #2 in the singles charts. I bet nobody noticed that before.

It's a good collection, but I remember standing at the rack in HMV when it came out looking at both the US and UK editions and being cheezed off that neither version had both "Maybe I'm Amazed" and "Junior's Farm" on it. Wingspan has both, but "Junior's" is the radio edit version!
"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."
"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."
"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD
Don't do it Pauls case...All The Best is poo on the whole and put me right off delving deeper for years. lol
I agree. I mean, your going to or have heard everyone of those damn songs on the radio anyways. The only time I buy any 'Best Of' cd's is if there's one or two songs offered on it that arent offered any where else.
