who do you think Ringo should choose for the 11th allstarr band?  my vote is:

Joey Molland - badfinger on guitar
Mike Nesmith - monkees on guitar
Don Felder - eagles on guitar
John Lodge  - moody blues on bass
Mark Lindsay - Paul Revere & the Raiders on sax, percussion
Dennis DeYoung - Styx on keys
Kelly Keagy - Night Ranger on drums

songs:
ringo:     what goes on, honey don’t, yellow submarine, with a little help from my friends, don’t pass me by, octopuses  garden, it don’t come easy, back off boogaloo, photograph, don’t go where the road don’t go, what goes around,  weight of the world, life goes on, king of broken hearts, vertical man, fading in fading out, choose love, never  without you, eye  to eye, liverpool 8, now that she’s gone away,

Joey:     come and get it, no matter what, (if a 3rd, love is gonna last)
Mike:     papa genes blues, the girl that i knew somewhere, (if a 3rd, rio or cruisin')
Don:      bad girls, heavy metal
John:     i'm just a singer, slide zone, (if a 3rd, ride your see saw or gemini dream)
Mark:     indian reservation, kicks, (if a 3rd, arizona)
Dennis:  lady, come sail away, (if a 3rd, why me - nice sax/guitar solo)
Kelly:     sister christian, when you close your eyes

That would make an excellent line-up. Maybe we should see first how the 10th band will be doing. Some information here: http://www.dmbeatles.com/forums/m-1205237724/

fair enough   but as gary wright is really the only new allstarr on the roster, i suspect while a great show, and save for a few new ringo tunes, it won't be dramtically different.  i will still be there if it gets anywhere near florida.  seeing the returning lineup is what prompted to get a head start on the next

thanks for the warm welcome.  peace and love.

If Dennis DeYoung was in the band, i'd pass on it even if the ticket was free.

I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.

Until five minutes ago, I had no idea who Dennis DeYoung was and I'd forgotten all about Styx. Thank you for reminding me.

my appologies for any pain inflicted by the mention of deyoung.  though styx was tauted by some as the beatles of the seventies, i actually only mentioned him as i coulnd't think of any keyboardist who've not been an allstarr yet except paul revere who doesn't sing & dave clark who isn't physically able.  in retrospect, steve winwood would serve better offering keys, guitar, sax and vocals.
peaec and love.
