Hi !

I didn't find much by seaching the forum, so ...

Which beatles tribute band do you like ? Or don't you like tibute bands in general ?

I went to a concert by The Cavern Beatles in January and really enjoyd it !   They do a great job ! Eddie McClain really has a great voice, suprisingly similar to Johns.

I checked their tour dates a few times but none of the listed were in Germany. But today I happend to discover they'll come to Germany in November and  I think I'll order some tickets tomorrow

So, what are your experiences ?

Greets

Johanna

I've just seen a face,
I can't forget the time or place

Here in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA..........I've seen "1964-The Tribute" twice.........they're kinda old.........been around for 20 years, but the music is "tight"...........close your eyes and it's the Beatles on stage.
Then I saw "The Return" twice at Murray's Dinner Placehouse.  Very intimate setting, dinner and a show.........and I got to go back stage after the show and meet the guys and have pictures taken with no hassel whatsoever.  These guys are young, got to do the hair and makeup to look like them, but they are also very good.
The BEST I've ever seen was in Branson, Missouri, USA, called "Liverpool Legends" and they are even managed by George Harrison's sister, Louise.  Met all of them after the show, met Louise..........very, very nice lady.  And my husband even got up on stage with them when they sang, "Birthday" because his birthday was in November when we saw them.  "LL" were the only tribute band that went thru the whole spectrum of the Beatles history.........The early "Hard Days Night" black suits, the military "Shea" jackets, the Sgt Pepper satin and the Abby road cover look.  All in all.............very good show.  Not to mention the guys that "played" Paul and George were too cute.  I'll upload some pix and post........

There is a tribute band that as an ongoing show in Las Vegas I believed they are called The Fab Four.  I will be in vegas next week and was thinking about seeing them. I don't know.  I don't know how I feel about it.  I will either love it or hate it.
