Macca`s , bank balance is a bit low , so start saving up people
From the N.M.E.
McCartney is in the process of planning a huge world tour for this autumn, taking in gigs in the UK, the USA, Canada and Australia.
Representatives for McCartney have been meeting concert promoters around the world this month to iron out the details of the tour, on which he is set to debut selections from an album's worth of new songs he has written.
According to the Daily Mirror, McCartney's tour director flew to Nova Scotia in Canada recently to meet with promoter Harold MacKay.
The duo discussed a possible date at the 50,000 capacity Halifax Common venue, where The Rolling Stones performed in 2006.
The world tour dates are set to be finalised in May.

I have always heard he is amazing in concert, is that true? Is it worth spending the money?? If it is I might just have to see if he is coming around Minnesota. Doubt it, but there's always hope.

I kind of hope he comes here, cause if he does, and I can afford the tickets, I think I will take my dad, cause without him, I wouldn't have ever heard the beatles.

Wonderful news! He comes through to California every couple of years or so it seems and I never have the money to go. But this time I will so I am very excited!
I'm so excited! I hope, hope HOPE! That Paul comes here, I need to see him. I will drive cross-country to see him! Now I'm excited I don't know what to do! Oh my, I need to calm down!

Where do you live DarkSweetLady? I hope you get to go!!!
Well I am rather scared, cause I called my local radio station, and they had not heard anything about him touring. I wish I could write him an e-mail or something he would actually get to read or see before he finalizes his tour dates, but I know that's next to impossible. It has been so long since he has been to Minnesota and now that I have a job and could quite possibly afford the tickets as long as I save up, I am unsure if he will Grace us with his presence. I really hope he makes a stop here, cause I really want to see him. If the tour dates come out and he isn't coming here, I am pretty sure I will cry.

i have already started trying to get some of my mates to get tickets if he hits scotland but most of them either dont like the beatles or only like his work in the beatles and not solo :O
I'm not really into his solo stuff myself, but I just want to be able to see him live. I mean, he's not getting any younger so who knows when his last tour will be.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! that is not a pretty thought, cause either he'll get really, really hairy or die!!! both horrible options!!!!

thats exactly my reason ive put to my mates who love the beatles but dont like his solo, at the age we are we missed the beatles and you never know if its gonna be our last chance to see him.
I'm totally into his Wings and solo material and he should perform much more of it! He's given the last TWO DECADES to the Beatle lovers, how about giving the fans who love the rest of his fantastic career a chance to hear that material as well!
Has anyone heard of any more news of Paul touring? I found a rumor from the Macca Report that he wants to tour America next year and is ready to announce that this month--but I have not heard anything official.
I hope he comes to Glasgow he nearly did in 2003 and was really looking forward to it but sadly it never happened because he was ill and had to reshedule a show he missed. I believe he will be taking Nancy with him.
He seems to be quite content to play the odd show here and there, and not a full blown tour. How long he can keep this going, and still hold on to his band is anybody's guess.
Euan, if he hasn't played Glasgow in a long time, you might be in luck. I don't think he'll do a full blown tour, that would mean spending long periods away from his daughter, and I can't see Heather letting him take her along. It does mean that he probably won't be playing Copenhagen, though I have a suspicion that he might play Hamburg, which is only a short drive.
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.
Thank you. I check Paul's website pretty often and signed up for the email updates. Now all I can do is hope and wait.
Cheers. It's getting too late to do a tour this year (isn't it?), but one next year wouldn't surprise me, although maybe not one as big or long as usual. Who knows?
FYI - I signed up for the updates in June when I first heard about the tour and I haven't gotten any yet... I'm not sure if it's just me or what
Nope, it's not just you. I haven't received any updates either. I've just heard that he wants to tour next year (rumors, ya know)...either that's false news or Paul is just taking his sweet, sweet time in announcing it.
I hope he goes through with this whole World Tour thing. Seeing him in concert is one thing I want to do before I die PLEASE GO THROUGH WITH IT PAUL!

Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind, Possessing and caressing me." "About a lucky man who made the grade" "I'm coming down fast but I'm miles above you."

Yup, that is on my "before I die" list too.
I am feeling so blue about waiting and hoping for Paul to make a tour/concert announcement. Not to sound negative but I am getting worried he will not say anything about touring at all.

The part in bold reminded me of this
"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."
"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."
"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD
