I love Black Sabbath, though I prefer the Ozzy & Dio years over everything that came after.

"Paranoid" and "Heaven And Hell" were the first two Sabbath albums I owned (back in the mid 80's) and I collected them pretty religously after that,  Well, until "Seventh Star"; I wasn't crazy about that one and after that I lost interest.

But most of the first 12 albums are essential for anyone who likes heavy metal. The exceptions would be "Never Say Die", "Live Evil" and maybe "Technical Ecstacy".

Quoted from Sandra
Breaking up in 1970 was the best thing they ever could have done. They're forever frozen in time when they were at their best. Paul on the other hand...

PS
Bobber, you rule.

^^^^^^You're right.  I hate to say it, but that was the best thing the Beatles could have done was to break up at the hight of their aura.  Hey, I just couldn't image the Beatles playing Vegas like Elvis did.........come on!!!!!
