just wondering what songs of the Beatles you can't listen to, skip when it comes on or that just plain bores you, but others favor hugely?
for me i cant listen to these songs or tend to skip them quite a lot
A hard days night ( i always skip this when im listening to a hard days night) yesterday ( just heard so much growing up on radio or tv and just does nothing for me now ) Norwegian wood in my life ( apart from the nice intro i find it very overrated ) im only sleeping (yawn) Taxman lucy in the sky with diamonds a day in the life while my guitar gently weeps let it be ( the worst offender for me, never listen to it ) something (nice bass work and drum work) across the universe
Most of George's, with the exception of Taxman, Here Comes The Sun and Something Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill Revolution #1 Octopus's Garden Maxwell's Silver Hammer Let It Be One After 909 Roll Over Beethoven Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby Run For Your Life

i also skip a lot of harrisons songs with the exception of blue jay way and its all too much.
also have you got any songs that you skip that would be in a lot of top tens for greatest beatles songs ? like let it be, hey jude, i am the walrus or are most of the ones you would skip be lesser known ?
I skip Let It Be, sometimes Love Me Do, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, The Ballad Of John And Yoko and sometimes Come Together. These are songs I don't care about too much, but are pretty well known.

i never listen to while my guitar gently weeps and also have a disliking for come together
While My Guitar Gently Weeps - Way to long and boring Strawberry Fields Forever - This song bores me too. Dont know why but it does. Its always skipped. Lady Madonna - I hate this song Get Back - Always gets skipped or turned off if its on the radio All You Need Is Love - One of the most annoying songs ever Long And Winding Road - This song has more fluff than a marshmellow factory Dont Let Me Down - Never did anything for me Across The Universe - Bores me to tears Rock N Roll Music - Hate it Twist And Shout - Its ok, but if I hear it again I might have to jam two railroad spikes in my ears
I read somewhere (and I can be wrong) that The Long and Winding Road was Paul's least favorite song.
He didn't like what Spector did with it. The orchestra and women's vocals. Other than that, I'm sure he thinks it's brilliant. I like how John called it his "last gasp." I think he was a little off in that presumption though. As usual.

This is what Paul originally had in mind for "The Long and Winding Road." I really like this version myself. There's a different take (or at least mix) on Anthology 3.

Different take on Ath 3, and my personal favourite. This is the version on 'Naked' isn't it? Can't stand Billy's solo.
Anyway, back to the subject at hand:
Michelle Yesterday (Overplayed and overrated) Don't Bother Me (Not difficult to see why George didn't get much of a look in) A Taste of Honey Dig a Pony (John has no right to critisise Paul if this is the best he can come up with) Got to Get You Into My Life (Because it just doesn't fit) Honey Pie Octopus's Garden Maxwell's Silver Hammer Savoy Truffle Till There Was You
I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.
Yeah, doesn't work. His keyboards are mixed too far forward on the Naked version of "I've Got a Feeling," too: Spector was quite right to bury them, in my opinion.

Yes. Billy was a great musician, but his keys sound terrible on that song. It's just one of the many reasons I don't like 'Naked'.

"Helter Skelter." It's a noisy prank of a song that's hardly worth all the airplay it gets over here. Jokes get tired when they're repeated too often.
i think it is a good song, but the mix of it is all wrong btu then again it was one of the first hard rock songs and George probably hadn't encountered something so heavy before.
guitars to quiet, vocals to loud and all you can hear is drum and bass.

So they invented Drum 'n' Bass!

I think Paul was sending up the then new hard rock/heavy metal idiom in much the way he sent up C & W with "Rocky Raccoon." I don't hate it actually, I just think it gets played too much and taken too seriously for what it is over here. People don't see that it's really a parody- which, of course, is funny in itself, too: but I've laughed at the joke often enough.
But I take your point about a remix, though: might be interesting.
While I don't really dislike the song that much, Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds is my least favorite song on Sgt. Pepper's.
another song that I don't really dislike but will never understand why so many people love it is Here Comes The Sun.
Hello Goodbye is a song I used to hate because it's a bit cheesy (the lyrics in particular) but lately I have come around to the idea that it's just a fun, bouncy song with some pretty good riffs....but I still usually skip it.
I dislike several of John's popular pre-Rubber Soul songs including No Reply, I'm a Loser, If I Fell, and I'm Happy Just To Dance With You
It's great...it sold...it's the bloody Beatles' White Album, shut up
I skip a lot of George when he started getting into western music. Mostly on Revolver. I think the songs I skip depend on what kind of mood I'm in. I know I do skip Dear Prudence every time, mostly slower songs of theirs with some exceptions, Yesterday, let it Be, ect. act naturally some of Beatles for Sale it just depends
Oh, that this too, too solid flesh would melt... Zap! My skin's soaked right through to the skin! "The Beatles will exist without us"

oh iforgot about that one here comes the sun bores the &*^% out of me in the same way WMGW does.
Dudes, we're supposed to be listing popular songs that you don't like, not just songs you don't like. From what I know, A Taste of Honey is almost universally loathed and Dig a Pony is not too popular either.
You're so vain, you probably think this post is about you.
