i wasl sitening to a few beatles songs today on my mp3 while i was doing my rounds and while listening to If i fell, i realized that Paul's vocals in the chorus were a lot more prominent than Johns and Georges ? do you think this was on purpose or just something that happened and wasn't picked up on ?

Also i seemed to feel Paul singing it more than John even though it was his experience and for the most part maybe all of his work ?

It could just be natural in the sense that being the higher line, Paul may have had to push the lungs harder to get it out.
More to the point, macca's line is really the chorus as John sings the same pitch & tone as the verses, even though its also a cream harmony. It's what makes that chorus blossom so well. Thinner voice in this case with more volume and the lower register thick but lower in the mix. Without the higher harmony line it would be a flatter plateau.
