Ok..........I think I AM one of the biggest Beatle fans ever..........case in point.........I have EVERY issue of the Bestles' Monthly Book. Yes, EVERY ONE. ALL the originals from 1963-1970, all the "re-issues" in the '70's thru Record Collector Mag, and all the "starting up" issues from 1984 to the end somewhere in 2002, or 2001. Yes people, I have them all. That is what a fanatic collector I am of our fabulous foursome from Liverpool... I told my husband I want all of these buried with me when I die...............
"Do you want to be an angel, Do you want to be a star. Do you want to play some magic on my guitar??"
Thats excellent!! I wish I could claim the same! I wanted to see what they are like though so I own two of them! something like issue 38, I know one had George shaving on the front and the other is of Paul! I was happy just to have two haha, but I admire the fact you own them all!
^^^^^It "cost" me to do this. But this was a mission of mine for several years on ebay. And many trips to the bank to "transfer funds". My husband was ready to kill me. Here's just a few of them.... And my little "shrine" in my music room.......
"Do you want to be an angel, Do you want to be a star. Do you want to play some magic on my guitar??"
Actually, the first issue wasn't that bad. I paid maybe $100 US dollars for it. The most I've EVER paid for one issue was $175. Most of the ones I bought, I bought in "lots"...as in there may have been 20 to 100 issues in an auction. I quite a few extra copies, but it was worth what I spent to have ever one.

Oh yes!! The pictures were especially welcome back in the days before you could just go on the computer and find all the Beatles pics you need for your fix. I really looked forward to each one coming through the letterbox
Do you have any from October-November 1979? Would you mind looking to see if it mentions anything about Jimmy's death?
"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."
"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."
"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD
