I was watching Paul McCartney " The Space Within US " today and their was Wixie on keyboards same as usual and i got to thinking i know next to nothing about him , not even how old he his ? considering he's been with Paul some 19 years now i thought i would look him up  " Wikipedia " does'nt show his date of birth , it says he's from Essex and he's been with Paul since 1989 and he's a composer .
I was wondering if anyone knew anything more about him ? 19 years is a long time to survive with Paul McCartney so Wixie most be doing something right . Are he and Paul friends  away from music ?

Actually, it raises a question itself ... what does Paul do when he's not working? Who are his friends? Is he lonely, surrounded only by sycophants and quislings, or does he have some childhood friends that he hangs out with?

Well after much searching on the internet Paul " Wix " Wickens D.O.B 27/3/1956 which makes him 52 yrs old ,  he was born in Brentwood Essex England .

I love Wix. He seems very funny, and I like when he talks about touring with Paul. He plays keyboards and accordion, right?
