No, Paul didn't go to Neil's funeral and Ringo didn't either.  And I think they did it out of "respect" for Neil's family because they knew it would turn into a media "circus" if they showed up.  Stella McCartney was there, as was Ringo's wife, Barbara Bach, and Yoko and Olivia.  With all the hoop-la going around Paul's recent divorce from "the Heather", I think Paul thought if better not to show.  Besides, I read that he was in NYC at the time Neil died or the day before, somthing like that.

^^^^^Pete Townsend did that at the funeral because he is/was Neil's next door neighbor.

Well, they could have had a private showing for the close friends and I do think Paul and Ringo should have been there.

I think they did.  But for the "photo-hogs", Paul and Ringo didn't go to the service.  What I read from the "reports" that came in from NYC where Neil passed and then on, Paul and I think Ringo were there when Neil died.  And that's the way I think Neil would have wanted it.  Neil, now, was a very private man and didn't tell ANYTHING about his "close" days with the Beatles and there after.  Everything was done as I thought it would have been done......being an "aspinall-lover".......I think I know..............

Oh, just referring to Ringo here. After his old friend Rory Storm had died, this was the answer that Ringo gave when he was asked why he wasn't at the funeral. 'Well, I wasn't at his birth either'.
