I'd like to know what the rationale is for people shooting guns into the air. I mean, this isn't the wild west anymore. I thought shouting YEE HAW and shooting your sixgun went out with the stage coach. What's the mentality at work here?
I have no idea. I guess people just want an excuse to shoot their guns. And I guess they think New Years and 4th of July is the time to do it. Of course, I disagree with this 100%. But I think that is how they rationalize it. Both holidays are loud with fireworks or banging pots and pans and horns. I don't know...
