Jane, I've no idea what happened to your post, but if you can remember what you said please feel free to post it again. The only time a post is ever deleted is if it's a double post, or their is an attack on another member, particularly bad language, or occasionally for spamming.

Most of us mods are allowed to modify, and delete posts. The delete button is right next to the quote button, so it's possible that one of us made an error. Apologies if that's what happened.

Something that I occasionally is click 'Preview' instead of 'Post'. That could also be the reason.
