The rumor is that the governator is trying to cut state-workers (that would be me) pay down to the federal min wage because of the budget not being passed.  Isn't that the stupidest thing you ever heard? Why am I punished because other people cannot do their job.  I guess the pay would go back to normal after the budget has passed and they would pay you back pay to make up for it.  What good does that do anyone though? Probably too late by then.  Luckily the bank I am with deals with these issues by giving you interest fee loan if there is issues with the budget.  I still think the whole thing is BS though!

Sorry, had to rant a little bit.  I doubt it will happen though.  The Controller says he will pay us through September.  They had better get it crackin on that dang budget! BETTER HAVE MY MOOOONNNEEEEEYYYYY!!!
