Gus Van Sant he directed My Own Private Idaho and Last Days. Two good movies, in my own opinion.

10 Things I Hate About You isn't really old, it came out in like 2001, didn't it? I like that movie, but I can't stand how the poem at then end lists way more than 10 things. But besides that it is a cute little movie.

I love The Breakfast Club!

An oldie? What's something like The Breakfast Club than? Ancient?

Just thought of that one because of the annoying new JC Penny commercial where they mimic scenes from the movie. All of a sudden the eighties are retro.

hah oh yeah! When I first saw that commerical, I was like.."Seriously, another Breakfast club!" hah
You can't beat the original, sorry.

Me too. Incredible how they made such a great movie with five actors and a high school library... And the characters are so good... Last time I saw that movie I realized that you really just have to ask anyone who has seen that movie which character(s) of The Breakfast Club he or she relates to the most, and you pretty much know what kind of person he or she is...

The Bucket List was very cute. Made me cry a little too! I thought I was gonna hate No Country for Old Men, but I LOVED it!! It was an amazing movie. I was just talking about this movie the other day with the friends I went to see The Dark Knight with! We were comparing actual Oscar caliber performances. Javier Bardem definitely deserved his! And Josh Brolin was pretty great too. Hope you enjoy them!

I love John Hughes' eighties teen angst films!!! He really caught teen life at that time pretty accurately.

I related to the Judd Nelson character most at that time, with a little of the Ally Sheedy character thrown in. Don't know what that says, but I've changed a lot since then.

I think that at high school, I was a combination of Ally Sheedy's and Anthony Michael Hall's character. Which would make me the ultimate nerd...

I love John Hughes films too! I love Pretty in Pink. Andrew McCarthhy !

I don't know which character I'd relate to the most. I'll have to give that some thought.

Any of you seen the movie, "Juno"???  About the teen girl who gets pregnant by her "best guy friend" and decides to give it up of adoption???  Serious, but oh so cute of a movie!!!  The dialogue is fantastic in it.  No wonder it won best original screenplay at the Oscars this year.  I recommend this movie.
