Do you like The Manic Street Preachers? It is a British band, a group from Wales, if i am not mistaken. It became successful in the 1990s. One of their members, Richy Edwards went out one day in 1995 and never returned. i assume nobody knows where he is or what happened to him. Or is there any information about him?

No info at all on the whereabouts of Richey. The band still pay all his royalties into a bank account for him. He's a very rich man if ever he decides to resurface.

I'm not much of a fan, though there are a few things that I really like:

La Tristesse Durera
A Design for Life
You Stole the Sun from My Heart

And I love their version of 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head'.

I just want you to reassure him - talk to him, make him see the error of his ways. Then I'll hit him.

I have read a point of view that Richy Edwards is the Welsh Kurt Cobain. Do you agree with it?

not really all he did was play rythm guitar and wrote some lyrics in the band, he wasnt actually that important to there music as most of there hits and fame came after his disappearance, i think what he is most remembered for is scrolling 4 real on his arm

There are two theories about what happened to Edwards... One is that he jumped off a bridge, one is that he's in a religious cult somewhere in India...

I like some of MSP's stuff... Especially "Motorcycle Emptiness" and "If You Tolerate This..." are great songs. Also love their acoustic version of Wham's "Last Christmas". That version and the acoustic version that Travis did of Britney Spears's "Baby One More Time" prove that even a steaming pile of crap can end up sounding pretty damn great if it's performed by a good singer with an acoustic guitar...

From what I remember, it was James Dean Bradfield, rather than the whole band, doing an accousitic version on a 90s tv show.  It was great (James has a very strong voice).  I am now going to youtube it.
