I used to be a tea man, but now it gives me heartburn. So now I drink tea with milk, but without the tea! Hot boiled water with milk, in other words. A couple of mugs of instant coffee a day.

I have coffee early in the day, with milk of course. And tea late in the day, no milk of course. But i know that the British take tea with milk. Is it true? Do you take sugar in your coffee or tea? I do, but not much.

Can't really do either. I prefer tea over coffee, but i like iced tea or iced coffee much better than hot either

Coffee definitely. I like the aroma and the taste, not only the refreshing effect. And all the culture of coffee drinking and serving, too.
Tea is also OK, especially if it's green tea (I hate black tea) and nothing compares to the Japanese green tea which i can't drink very often because of obvious reasons
And we have great tradition of herbal teas, mint tea is my favourite.

Something good about coffee:

Coffee. About 7-8 cups a day.

No milk, no sugar, no special blends, no cappuccino, no espresso, and definately not that watery stuff that Americans call coffee, but just plain black regular coffee.

Guys! Black coffee is bad for stomach, it scratches the inside, put at least a drop (even a small drop) of milk into it and you will be ok.

Wow, never knew that all it took to be a 'real man' was to drink your coffee black... Who could've thought it was that easy?   Makes you wonder what women who drink their coffee black are...?

No, but seriously... The first time I drank American coffee was in Mexico last year (many restaurants in the tourist districts serve American coffee because most tourists are Americans) and I really thought there was something wrong with it... Like they'd re-used an old coffee filter or something like that... It's just so watery and tasteless... I guess it just depends on what you're used to.

Hmm, you were in Mexico drinking American coffee and it tasted odd? Now I wonder how that could be? Certainly nothing wrong with the water there or anything.

Seriously though, what is American coffee? Is it like Maxwell House or something? Because yeah, that stuff is gross.  I think the whole coffee renaissance has helped with the quality, but yeah, if you're gonna order coffee in say, Dennys or something, you're definitely taking your chances. I often have to make the coffee at work because I need it strong. Otherwise, what's the point? But then, I grew up on my grandma's coffee and she was from Italy. She used to love black coffee with a shot of whiskey or Sambuca in her little demitasse cup. That stuff was brutal!

I don't know. It's a bit confusing. It really isn't difficult to make coffee is it? I'm not understanding where the difference comes in besides the brand and how much of it you choose to add. I guess most people like it light or something. Oh well, there's always espresso shots for those who really want a kick.

Yeah, it's my greatest vice (apart from all the others).

Well, actually I like the old sixties show, probably because I saw it when I was about ten. I'm not crazy about the spinoffs or most of the movies, or the plodding seriousness with which the show's taken by some of its fans.

For sure: that stuff and uranium are among the few substances in the world that will reliably kill termites. Never buy coffee from any place that's got a drive-thru.

I'm a tea-bag! Gotta be strong (tetley extra strong at the moment, also like PG Tips), piping hot, NO SUGAR (don't even stir it with the same spoon as a sugar-user or coffee for that matter), somehow tastes best in my favourite mug (you know  -  the nice bone china one with elephants on), not too much milk, skimmed milk is best (I hate milk mostly). So as you can see, I'm quite easy-going on the whole!!!

Coffee is yuck, and also I couldn't drink it when I was pregnant as I found I could feel it pumping through my veins  -  didn't like that at all.

I have also noticed that tea has a negative space making effect; witness the fact that after a huge plate of egg and chips, just when you thought you'd never eat again, then you have a nice cup of tea, and suddenly you can manage a whole Mars Bar without throwing up!! Magic stuff, that brew.

very twee, very me!

Mostly tea, normally without anything (but with honey if I've got a sore throught). I like Earl Grey, Rhoobush tea or fresh peppermint tea (no bags )
But a cup of coffe a day is good. Black of course.

There's a lot of cringe-inducing silliness associated with that franchise, no question of it; and you won't catch me within five miles of a Star Trek convention or even on the same side of the street ever with anyone wearing one of those goofy uniforms or a pair of Mr Spock ears. I just maintain that the old sixties TV series, or about half of it, is fun to watch and that's it!

Tea or Coffee?
No thanks.
