On one of my Wings videos on youtube, some guy left this comment.

too bad paul didnt serve Jesus with his songs , he is going where john and george went . sad . poor paul. and ringo

I don't really see what Jesus or God has to do with The Beatles (and solo) music and apparently that guy thinks that since they didn't serve/praise Jesus/God with their music that they are going to hell.

I am a Christian but come on, that comment that guy left is taking it too far in my opinion

Ok. Rant over

"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."

"Few people on this planet know as much about Jimmy's musical history than you."

"I'm Joe English and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland." xD

My very very religious grandmother absolutely hated The Beatles, and when she was still alive I asked her if she liked them, and she replied with this,

"The Beatles are the devil's music! They flung around their mop tops like they were presidents or something..."

I had to leave the room so I could laugh in the bathroom. And thus she ended my asking about The Beatles.

The Beatles have been making millions of people happy with their music for 45 years now. You've got to be pretty messed up to see any kind of sin in that.

And if anyone thinks that rock & roll is the devil's music, I'd like to know where exactly it says so in the Bible... It's just another example of people abusing religion to back up their personal beliefs.

Well here are his other comments on the video,

Jesus has nothing to do with pals music , thats the whole problem. paul chose to serve satan not jesus . where will u go when u die . with paul of god . its your call.

he said he wrote a song for all gods , not the christian God . how sick is that , Jesus is the only God . didnt you know that rock n roll is devil worship. how blind are you .LOOK AT THE WORDS OF JESUS WHERE HE SAID IF ANYONE LOVE GOD HE SHALL TALK ABOUT HIM . IF ANYONE SERVES HIMSELF HE SEEKS HIS OWN CREDIT NOT GODS . . BYE

Man, totally reminds me of my grandfather.  When he found out that I was a John fan he tried to convince me that his lyrics and what he wrote was bad for my moral health!  LOL!  Some people just don't understand the impact of secular music.

Fortunately the times have changed. You see, all the comments refer to the old days, the 60-70s, or are pronounced by old people (senior citizens - PC). They also maybe said by some who do not listen to rock or pop-rock music and know nothing about it, thus they are in no position to judge, so why should we listen to them? There are others who are confused by judgemental terms. I remember a person (50 years old, religious), who asked if Mick Jagger`s talent came from God or devil. I laughed at him then, and wondered at the narrow-mindedness of such people.

You can believe whatever you want, but I hate when religious people try to push their beliefs on you.  I mean, if you really think those people are going to hell, then let them.  That's not for you to worry about.  Worry about yourself.

Who was the douchebag who actually said all this ignorant stuff?

Was it someone significant that we should listen to?  (Why am I thinking it's not?)

I`ve read in one forum about a boy who said that his teacher of music history or something at university taught the students that The Beatles` music and songs were decadent and on the whole depressive. The boy protested but in vain. And such people teach the younger generation! When will we come out of the Dark Ages?
