Hello Everyone,

I’ve just signed up on the Forum to tell you about this Beatles themed song/video that I’ve just posted on YouTube. I think you might find it interesting.

The song is called Letter From Apple. It was a Folk song that I wrote a long long time ago after my friend and I went to deliver our Demo tape to The Beatles at Apple Records in London.

As you will see by the video, my friend Dave and I are massive Beatles fans and so we thought it would be fun to re-produce the old folk song in a new Beatlesque style. We’ve spent quite a few weekends on this and my son was kind enough to put together a little video to go along with it.

I hope you will enjoy listening to the story and that you will receive it in the same fun and tongue-in-cheek spirit it was created.

I like it very much. It is a catchy song. Indeed Beatlesque. The slide show is also very good, real 60s!

Yes - we still have the original demo tape and rejection letter. Most of the songs are really bad. That’s youthful naivety for you!

Hey Stephen. Nice song. I'm also impressed you got a reply from Apple - the impression I got from Richard DiLello's book was that Apple staff never really bothered going through the thousands of submissions they received every week.
