Saw this on another forum, so thought I'd give it a try here. What are your top 5 all time favourite TV series? Pick from any era since TV began, but it must be a series, and not a one-off.

Start that head scratching now!

"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."

3) Fawlty Towers
4) South Park
5) The Avengers

Or I think it does: by this time tomorrow, I may have a completely different list.

Not in any particular order:

The Simpsons
Seinfeld
The Sopranos
The Wonder Years
I Love Lucy
Cops (is this considered a series?)

These are shows that  no matter how many times the re-runs come on and I have seen them a million times, I will always watch it again.

That's 6. You cheated! Go to the back of the class!

I used to love The Wonder Years, but I must be the only person on the planet who has never seen a single episode of The Sopranos!

In no particular order..................
1. Nip/Tuck
2. Swingtown..............they got a "tween boy" that looks like a young Greg Lake on the show.....no, I'm not sick....
3. The Partridge Family...........David Cassidy................no more said.........
4. The Young Ones
5. Charmed...........and I HATE that they cancelled it.
Also more I like, but I know this is only "top 5".........Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Survivor.........yes, I watch every season, I admit, and anything Monty Python..........."nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition".

Like a lot of people, the "puppet" episode is my favorite, and the best bit occurs when puppet Angel gets into an elevator with Spike, who starts needling him about being a "wee puppet man:" there's a quick cut as the elevator doors close, and in the next shot, on another floor, you see Spike- or rather his boots- prone on the elevator floor as the doors open and Angel walks away. Clocked by a puppet!

That's cool, Geoff, that you liked Angel too.  And why is it that "puppets" are always made to be evil????
