My boss is pretty cool about it, he will usually just say "when you are done with that can you do something for me" if he catches me surfing. I just try not to let everyone else see.

Won't you tell me your name is across my stomach... Kind of wraps around me so sometimes its harder to read.    It's amazing how many people tell me they love me when they read my shirt and then tell me their name.  probably 7 on average every time i wear it.  Usually strangers are the ones that say it too..  Even more amazing... there is maybe just maybe one person that says hey...thats an oldies song!

LOL!  Cute story!

I had a friend, she had a Tshirt that said 'the pen is mightier than the sword' but the way it wrapped around the chest (which was ample) it looked like 'the penis mightier than the sword'.  She got a few remarks for THAT one too.  :)

Naw, one thing good about Jake and I is we work really really well together and always get A's on what we do together.

Wooohoo!

I am in school...ugh... well today was a good day atleast. In first period I just watched other people do their projects like the one I did yesterday...in second period I got to go watch the play being put on... called Guys and dolls (ahhh Jake plays Nathan one of the 4 leads) and then I also skipped 3rd period and am now screwing around on the computer.  (I figure why the hell go to class when you are getting 98 percent in one and 103 percent in another.

Its funny now that I take college classes... they are so much more important then my highschool ones. The highschool ones I sleep in and get A's.

Tonight I am going to the mall... then afterwards I am going to the play again and then spending the night at Jakes house. yay!

But seriously, sorry to hear it.  Driving tests are nerve-wracking enough without having to have to go and do it more than once.

-My- first test the back gate of the station wagon I was in flew open and stayed that way thru the whole test...freaked me out so much I failed.  I don't think the exam person even knew.

Are you from England or are you just a big soccer fan.  I'm not knocking soccer, I play on my high school team, but I don't know many Americans who enjoy it.  Anyway we missed you :'(

oh yeah, I started listening to the Beatles in Paraguay, in fact I left most of my Lennon, Wings, Harrison and Beatles albums there, including my vinyl collection :(

There are these two guys in Paraguay that are huge Beatles fans and they have almost every single beatles vinyl out there (LPs, EPs, 45s) and they also have some gold albums and Paul's Hofner Bass from 1961 or 1962

It's going to warm up to 17 degrees celcius this week. It's either too hot or too cold here. Last January we had two weeks where it was -40 degrees. That sucked.

Gee, I just always assumed that all Canadians wore mukluks all the time and had to dog sled to work and buy groceries, etc.  That if you need to use public transportation you ride on an ice cutter.

Our summers are really really hot and our winters are really really cold. You should have seen me in January when it was -40 degrees. I had to walk to the bus stop in my winter coat, hat, two pairs of gloves and a scarf wrapped around my face. I was warm everywhere but my legs because I was wearing dress pants for work. By the time I got to work my legs were so numb with the cold I couldn't feel them and I thought my pants had fallen down. I actually had to stop and look down to make sure they were still on me haha.

I can only ask...why would anyone subject themselves to that?

I remember my first 17 years in the Chicago area and now I have spent twice as many years in a temperate climate I would NEVER go live there again, and I love my old hometown.  The cold and humidity were just life-altering.

Yet people stay and thrive.  I'm sure Canada has so many other nice things it's just a trade-off but it would be awfully hard for me to stay in an area like that (I remember when the girl's would wear skirts to school, walking blocks in thigh high snow drifts to get to the bus stop.  I never figured out if females were braver than me or just sillier)...

I used to ask my parents every winter why they chose to move here from Ireland. For the most part you get used to the different temperatures. I had never experienced -40 degrees before though. Our winters are usually -20 degrees.

I have been out in -30 degrees Celsius.  I don't know if I could take much colder.  One time when I was jogging my lungs started to freeze in that cold of air!  I wear pants over pants and it always keeps me warm.  Does it ever get so cold there, that they advise just not going out?

They will tell you not to go out unless you need to. Well, you have to leave the house to go to work. They just tell you to bundle up because your skin will be frostbitten within a minute if it's not covered. I hate the cold but what I hate more is when the roads are slippery. I hate driving on icy roads.

Yeah, like when your car ice-skates through the intersection with no brakes!  I don't know if they salt up there but sometimes around 0 degrees (F) here, salt doesn't melt the ice and hills are bad news!

The city is pretty good at clearing the main roads here. They don't bother doing the residential streets though. So I slide out of the parking lot of the complex I live in and the snow is so high you can feel it scraping along the bottom of the car.

It's the ice UNDER the snow on the road that makes it really treacherous.

after all its only a forum.its only words and words.
i know i lose it sometimes too.like the time heather,beatle-ed and i got into it but i soon saw i was the butt not them.now i love her being here and know that we worked thru it.i just wish heather was still here.

Well, you can help get rid of pollution and have a little fun as well...

Call everyone in your neighborhood.  Have everyone get a brown paper bag.  At the count of 3 everyone should take a deep breath.  Then blow that breath into the brown paper bag.  Tie the bag up and throw it in the ocean.

THAT will solve all of our pollution problems.  I think.

Barring that...you could always watch TV, no?  :)

LOL!

Actually, I don't watch that much TV.  ;)

Yes, of course.  I know you are an active, get ahead go getter. You never stop.  Why, this past week alone you did more than most people do in a month.  It's tough even keeping up with you, posting wise.  My fingers are smoking right now.

OOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah.  I suspected as much.  Or else you'd need a very big screen tv or very long eyeballs.

Cool...listened to a bunch of old Steve Miller last night...hadn't played that record for years and years.  Space Cowboy.  Yeah.

I didn't dance.  Not even chair dancing, my a** has no talent whatsoever.

I know what you mean, but you know how when you stumble trying to dance.  It's quite uncomfortable when my hindquarters do that in a chair.  My a** can't even square-dance.
