Ringo isnt fat, but he was the fattest out of all of them in the 60s, well he had the biggest neck fat, but Paul had some chubby cheeks in the early days, and he looked big with his big beard in the LIB sessions, but afterall none are fat at all

OMG! i love his nose! oh, and technically, its called a NEB! (see the help! movie for reference) its just so, so, Ringo! he wouldnt be Ringo without a huge, honkin, neb in the middle of his face. in fact, its how i started telling them apart when i was watching a hard days night for the first time ever.

I tend to find that one thing that's a little off about a person itmakes them that much cuter. I think Ringo's nose, while big and a bit awkward, gives him a kind of dorky look. Yet for that very reason, it makes him cute ;)

Never really noticed it much on John, maybe his fits his face to where it is not as noticable.
Anyone know what nationality each Beatle is. I mean yes I know they are from England, but are they english, irish, german...?? Some nationalities are known for their big noses (like my own, Sicilian).

johns nose never really became noticeable to me until he got really thin and grew his hair long when he had a rounder face and his moptop it just wasn't there

There is some truth to that. I notice that on a number of people. I think as you get older your face fills out more. I think I read somewhere you nose never stops growing? Or is that a myth?

But it does fit his face so I guess its possible that you might not notice just how big it is...Becuase I know I have seen people with noses that are like whoah! They don't fit on that persons face. Ringo's fits.

I think you're right EightDays... there's a quote in a book I read where Ringo says:

John Lennon wrote me a letter once. He said that the newspapers had reported that he'd said that Ringo was ugly. He wanted me to let Ringo's fans know that what had actually happened was that they were looking as some drawings that fans had made of them and when he looked at a drawing of Ringo, he said that the drawing was ugly.
