Somehow I expected this poll for quite a while... I go for Dear Prudence, with Something as second best.

After the opening of Magical Mystery Tour, the Fool on the Hill has got a perfect place as second. The same goes for Dear Prudence, a bit of a resting place after a rock-opener. Looking at these songs individually, Something is the most beautiful song.

Eleanor Rigby. Love that song, one of Paul's unique masterpieces. Dear Prudence is a close second, though.

Gosh I can't pick!! I am so stuck between Something and Dear Prudence. I love the story about how prudence was written, and I love the sweet lyrics in Something, I guess I am gonna have to go with something, then dear prue a close second. VERY CLOSE!!

Something > Eleanor Rigby > the rest
But I know so many people (hmm, like those in this poll) who rate Dear Prudence more highly. I'm just glad we have such a feast to choose from. :)

The Fool On The Hill
I even like how Brasil 66 did this song

Great question... I went with "Dear Prudence" because it's great one-two opener with "Back In The USSR." But "Come Together" and "Something" are nearly as good, and so are "Drive My Car" and "Norwegian Wood."
Obviously I'm a great one for making firm decisions....(crosseyed2)

it's a choice between Little Help from my Friends and Dear Prudence, mainly because of the way the first track surges into
the next! but i will go for a Little Help! :)

It's a tough decision, but I'm going with 'All My Loving' as best 3rd track.

This is so hard, I didn't realize that so many of my favorite songs are number 2 on the CD. Like Dear Prudence, Dig A Pony, Something. I'll have to give this one some thought.

I'm voting based on placement over the song itself. Eleanor Rigby fits perfectly between "Taxman" and "I'm only Sleeping"

Eleanor Rigby. There's nothing else like it in Rock and Roll, and I can't think of much that resembles it elsewhere. Ah, to be in my basement again, as a 5- or 6-year-old, playing Revolver for the first 100 times. Side 1, even on the American version, is so incredible.
Peace. wal
