If I met Ringo I would shake his hand & thank him for all the music & all the good times, without making a fool out of myself like some probably do.

I'd thank him for being the 'body' or 'glue' of the Beatles for holding the band together and tell him his drumming was just perfect for the Beatles' chemistry.

I would play a long intense scrabble game with him

I wouldn't want to meet him.  That would ruin everything.

I would be in awe!!!!!!!!! :o Then, I would just ask what it was all like , in the Beatlemania yrs.  8)

Actually, when I went to Ringo's concert 3 years ago I was so close to him I could see through his glasses. I yelled, "I love you Rings!"

I'd talk his bloody ear off about how much I love the Beatles, and then we'd both go out for a pint and make fun of Pete Best :D

I would of course shake his hand, ask for his autograph, and get my picture taken with him. And I would probably hug him, too. I would talk to him about how much of a Beatles fan I am, and ask him all kinds of questions. I'd probably be so excited that I wouldn't be able to say anything very interesting, just like "I love you, thank you so much, I just love you, thank you!"

This might be all I'd do if it was a quick meeting, like 30 seconds or whatever. But if I had a while I'd think of more interesting things to say, and it would be a good idea to ask for Paul's (like Sandra mentioned) or Ringo's own phone number.  ;D

If I met Ringo... I'll definitely say thanks (even though "Thank You For The Music" is ABBA... ;) ) and as you guys said, say how much I love the Beatles (and how much I love Ringo's solo-stuff too!  ;D ). I'd love to get a picture... and that hug idea sounds good too  :)

And then I suppose "we... can take a walk... just laugh and talk" (as the song goes!)  ;D He probably has plenty of great stories to tell... sorry, getting into the fantasy-realm here  :B  ;D

Haha, I know I've got as much of a chance of meeting Ringo as I do of travelling to Pluto (;D) but one thing's certain - if I met Ringo, I'd definitely be very happy indeed!  ;D

I would get a picture taken and ask him to sign a book or something. If he had lots of time of course I would ask him questions and expect humorous answers as only Ringo can provide.  :)

Id also tell him mystory of how he broke my heart when he married barbara.

If it was a quick meeting, I would shake his hand and ask for a hug and maybe a picture or autograph.  I probably wouldn't be able to say much I would probably be in shock!

If it was were I could actaully sit down and chat, I am sure I would just ask him to tell me about some of his best memories of his life.

first, i would probably be all like, "you're Ringo! you're awesome!" then, ask for an autograph, a hug, and it will go from there.

I would tell him I loved him on shining time station, and asked him about his experiences with the beatles, ask for the cool unknown stories

well, since i am going to his ALL STARS concert in June, i will get to SEE him, but if we got to meet,...

i would shake hands, and introduce myself (i dont want to freak out on him without him knowing who i was...) and just tell him how much i LOVE the Beatles, and ask him some questions about himself. then, if he was still patient enough, i would want his autograph and a couple of pictures. then hug him good bye, and yell "i love you ringo!" as security drags me away................ good times, good times.

I am going to fan numero uno, in July in Reno.  I am so excited!  I am hinking of making a huge sign that lights up that says "Ringo Rocks!!"  I am hoping that will catch his attention and I can meet him  :)

I would paint him red!!!

You know, I had the best dream about meeting Ringo. First, I was at his concert and he was walking up and down the aisles. He saw my nails that said, "Ringo Starr" on them, and he pulled me along. FNU was there, we're friends in real life, and she was signaling, "Go with it!" So I went along and asked me my name and my age. Since I'm only 13, he was like, "Aren't you too young to be at a concert?" And I told him I was with FNU and her family. So he invited them onstage. The rest of her family went back to their seats while FNU came up with me. We ended up playing a hand slapping game since we were nervous and excited. Ringo told us we had good rhythm and we called him Mr. Starr. He told us to call him Ringo Starr, and he whipped off his sunglasses. After that, we sang all of the Beatles songs Ringo sang, we sang Photograph, and then we started crying... don't ask. Ringo gave us a hug, and we went backstage. There sitting was Paul McCartney. Then we exchanged numbers, and I woke up.
