for those that watched Team America movie:

I'm So Ronery
I'm so ronery
So ronery
So ronery and sadry arone

There's no one
Just me onry
Sitting on my rittle throne
I work very hard and make up great prans
But nobody ristens, no one understands
Seems that no one takes me serirousry

And so I'm ronery
A little ronery
Poor rittre me

There's nobody
I can rerate to
Feer rike a bird in a cage
It's kinda sihry
But not rearry
Because it's fihring my body with rage

I work rearry hard to stay nice and fit
But none of the women seem to give a mess
When I rure the world maybe they'rr notice me
But untir then I'rr just be ronery
Rittre ronery, poor rittre me
I'm so ronery
I'm so ronery

His attempts to say "the greatest stars of Horryrood" is outrageous. God I love this movie. When he gives his boss a blowjob : "This isn't about sex Gary, its about trust."
And my favourite: "You can't blame yourself for what gorillas did."

hmm, maybe teens are when people are at their peak of intelligence. early on, until about 12, people are considered innocent, they dont really think on their own to some degree. once they hit the teens to 30 they question everything and are the most aware of their surroundings. they question and try to understand the world. by 30 till death, they accept what they have learned and are less likely to learn most new completely new material until they cant even learn new material about what they already know.

just a little idea i was pondering for a few minutes today

Wha?? I think you mean teens THINK that they are at their peak of intelligence. I don't agree with your theory at all. Teens are very self absorbed and insulated. They are mostly only aware of what suits them. That's what being a teen is all about anyway. Finding yourself, fitting in, being part of the crowd. It's very ME oriented. I thought I knew what the hell I was talking about as a teen, now I look back and think God what an idiot. I'm lucky I even survived my teen years. I also think if you are the type of person who questions things, you're always that type of person. It doesn't just stop at 30 or whatever. I know 90 year olds that are sharper then most people you'll meet on the street. Okay, one 90 year old. But she's pretty damn smart! See you'd realize these things if you weren't in your teen bubble!  :P

PS
By the end of that post you were starting to sound a bit Wayneish. What was it late or something?  ;D

PPS
I'm kidding you at the end there. Just wanted to clarify.  :)

So you might as well die when you're thirty?
Posted by: Kevin, September 26, 2006, 9:43am; Reply: 30
Matt Matt. Einstein and Beethoven were both well into their thirties when they did their greatest works, but Mozart and Newton were in their twenties. You'll need a little more support for your theory.

i realize that it is basically a bunch of bullshit but i got to thinking about it yesterday and the idea came to me. i just have no real reason as to why. granted there are going to be exceptions but it was just a general idea. i didnt expect it to be proven right,  just a thought
Posted by: Kevin, September 26, 2006, 4:49pm; Reply: 32
Thing is, even if you are right, no one over thirty will ever agree. Gotta bat for my team son.  :)
Posted by: somedude210, September 26, 2006, 7:45pm; Reply: 33
hahaha, im not saying that they dont question life anymore once they reach 30, i mean as you get older they start to accept life as is and not question everything. when you start hitting teenage years up to that point, you question everything from politics, religion, society and such. this will peak about 25 and slowly detererate until 30s-40s when you accept more than question.

first rule about digging yourself into a hole is to stop digging.

again, i know that this isnt true (although, could you really disprove it, minus the exceptions?) so dont take this as an all fire truth about what i believe, i just started thinking about this yesterday

I'm the opposite. I didn't question anything as a teen. I was too brain dead. Now I find myself questioning everything.

problem, girl that ive been talking to is freaking out that she and her boyfriend are going to break up and has been talking to me almost constantly for the past 3 days. i dont know if her boyfriend is having second thoughts because of her suddenly talking to me. and i really dont want to be a part of it. shes wicked cool and we often think alike and enjoy eachothers company but this is gonna get really really fucked up if we get together. which i hope will happen and at the same time dont want. im babbling now but this is messed up. i think ive been thrown into this drama and just happened to come into her life at the really wrong time.

...aaaaaaaaaah, its like a dream come true that she may be single shortly but at the same time an absolute nightmare.

im so close to having this work out between us but at the same time, i really dont want them to break up. shes a nice person and last thing i want to see is her getting hurt. but then again, maybe shes also reaching out to me and talking to me will actually help her more if this happened and she didnt reach out to me.

either way, me, her and him are proverbally fucked

but shes relying on me to talk to her and now she fears that he cheated on her...oy, why do i get dragged into this mess. never shouldve had thought she was hot, damnit.

and yes bobber, breathe in and out...breathe in....*collapse*

I figured. I love U2 and all, but sometimes I think they take themselves way too seriously. Many, many years ago when they were playing in Tempe, I talked my friends into hiking up this mountain by the Sun Devil Stadium where they were playing so we could listen to them. We didn't go because all my friends hated them, but anyway, we're up there and Bono starts preaching of course. We couldn't hear a word he was saying, but my friend is like, Oh God, now what's he going on about. I mean, you just KNEW he was rambling on about some injustice in the world just by the tone of his voice. That and the fact that at this time Bono was ALWAYS going on about one thing or another. He's much less preachier these days and way less serious. Anyway, man I hate my friends. I missed many a U2 concert because of them. Including an opportunity to go to a FREE concert where they just happened to be recording for the film Rattle and Hum! Idiots. Sorry for the digression, but to this day whenever U2 is mentioned I want to kill myself for not talking them into going. It's like, "Slowly I turned...." Not that you know even what that means...  :P
Posted by: somedude210, January 27, 2007, 1:35pm; Reply: 70
hahaha, well if its tempe, im assuming Joshua Tree tour...so you missed him preaching about the IRA, something like this from Rattle And Hum: Now lemme tell you somethin'. I've had enough of Irish Americans who haven't been back to their country in twenty or thirty years come up to me and talk about the resistence, the revolution back home. And the glory of the revolution, and the glory of dyin' for the revolution. f*** the revolution! They don't talk about the glory of killing for the revolution. What's the glory in takin' a man from his bed and gunnin' him down in front of his wife and his children? Where's the glory in that? Where's the glory in bombing a Rememberance Day parade of old-aged pensioners, their medals taken out and polished up for the day. Where's the glory in that? To leave them dyin', or crippled for life, or dead, under the rubble of a revolution that the majority of the people of my country don't want. Sing no more!

he was actually told to cut this speech because the IRA had supposidly put Bono on their hit list, but he did it anyway.

i have a concert from boston in 1983 and there is no preaching whatsoever. i wondered why he started. mustve been around the Unforgettable Fire.
Posted by: Sandra, January 29, 2007, 2:00am; Reply: 72
1983 was still early in their career for them. He was probably still playing it safe. Although I remember the first time I saw the video for Sunday Bloody Sunday. It was incredibly powerful. Very poliltical. The way he marched around with that white flag and got the audience involved. And of course those lyrics. That's when I stopped hating them and secretly became a fan. Anyway, you knew this was a band with something to say. And then of course once he started saying what he had to say he's never stopped. It just goes on and on and on... ;D

her name is christa, shes slightly shorter than me (5'11, i'm 6'2-6'3). not skinny, more slimmish. very sweet and intelligent, some blonde moments but they arent bad. shes a lovely girl. and we're going into a slow relationship, which isn't bad cause im sick of the meaningless flings.

well, first date wasnt bad, we went to the local coffee shop and talked until they closed up, and continued to talk while we tried to find something to do at 10 o'clock on a friday. then yesterday we went out again, went to a bookstore (barnes and nobles) where we had coffee and cheesecake then returned to my car and proceeded to cuddle and make out for about 2 1/2 hours before returning her home and making out for a good 10 mins in her driveway.

then today she stopped by during my independant study and the sub was out doing bathroom duty and we chatted a little and kissed. and then she had to run back to class cause she was supposedly at the bathroom.

so now, we're officially dating but we've told like 3 of her friends (i have many friends in many different circles and know most of the people in her circle at school) and have decided to hold off telling the rest until prom (next friday) so until then we kinda have to keep it on the down low in school. should be an interesting two weeks

Afternoon Matt. Still full of the joys of love?
I'm really envious of your whole prom experience thing. We don't have that kind of thing here and it looks so cool - a real rite of passage.
Got your suit sussed? And a hint - if you want to get laid (and yes I know about your "slow" relationship) wear your oldest most disgusting underwear. Sods law and all.

hahahahaha, actually its all well and good today. shes coming over tonight and we're watching a movie...or at least it will start as movie watching. but she will meet my parents and hopefully one will not be weirded out by the other.

the prom is an interesting experience. im actaully interested in how this prom will turn out. should be much better than the one i went to last year (mine, we have them in our junior year)

Hey you should write a poem... " Last night was filled with emotions
Your divine hair, filled with lotion
I could still smell it after you've been gone
And I know our love will go on and on and on and on and on....!

she gave me a beautiful water color painting that she did of us with this song written on the top of it

I hear the wind call your name
It calls me back home again
It sparks up the fire - a flame that still burns
Oh it's to you I'll always return
I still feel your breath on my skin
I hear your voice deep within
The sound of my lover - a feeling so strong
It's to you - I'll always belong

Now I know it's true
My every road leads to you
And in the hour of darkness darlin'
Your light gets me through

Wanna swim in your river - be warmed by your sun
Bathe in your waters - cos you are the one
I can't stand the distance - I can't dream alone
I can't wait to see you - Ya I'm on my way home

Oh I hear the wind call your name
The sound that leads me home again
It sparks up the fire - a flame that still burns
Oh, it's to you - I will always return

i think her mom has it in for me now. dont know why but she suddenly started screwing with us by denying us time together and forcing her to do all this mess next week that she doesnt want to do. then a week from today (sunday) she is going to her dad's place for 2 weeks. so the only time we'll be together between now and then is next saturday. and then shes waiting for her moms decision to let her return here in two weeks or stay at her dads till like mid-august. this is really going to suck if she does the latter. my girlfriend can stay here after 2 weeks if she has a legitamate excuse, and the only one would be if her mom lets her get a job.

she doesnt trust us anymore appearently. and im afraid my girlfriend really will run from home. shes sick of her mom treating her like this and not her sister whos younger and much worst. oy...

haha, well it would be nice if she could live with me, but remember. we're both highschoolers (well im not anymore, but still) it would be nice to have her live with me, but at this point it would probably be better for all of us, (me, her, her mom, my parents) if she stayed at a friend's house if she ran from home.

dont get me wrong, i would absolutely love to have her live with me, but it would be more practical that way and her mom wouldnt dislike me more, if she does already

(musicnotes) Oh I get by with a little help from my friends... (musicnotes)

Funny really, coz I started writing a little story about a guy and girl who dont see eachother as often as they could (however we will not go into details about that)

But anyway, talk to her mom. She's (your girl) a year younger i persume?  Arrange a lot of sleep overs with friends and all that but really in the back of your mind... (or the room).... know what i mean?

Or you can do a Lennon (ie quickies) but thats not good (nono)

i just had the most romantic night with her. we went to providence to see "waterfire" which is where they put these bonfires along the water in the river and people wander all along the river and you can take gonola rides and whatnot, my god it was so romantic. and i asked her something about us and it was all good. now shes off to her dad's house in new york for either 2 weeks or until mid-august depending on if her mom lets her come back after two weeks (she doesnt like going out to see her dad cause her life is here with her mom, we're hoping her mom has enough heart to let her come back after two)

god im going to miss her so much, i spent two days at freshman orientation thursday and friday and spent 2 hours thursday night talking to her. man...im going to miss her.

i must seem crazy, its only been 2 months but god, it seems so so so so much longer than that. it feels like we've been going out for a year...christ

how do you take down a demonic sister? (hers not mine) i'm thinking that we get her to somehow admit to having sex or doing drugs or whatnot and have it recorded and then just go "lay off giving mess to your sister or your mom is going to listen to this and you won't have any freedom till you're 18, move out or run away"

i also have a feeling that her mom somehow know what me and my girlfriend have done together...dont know how but i have a feeling she does, i hate those sixth sense motherly things

Good to hear from you sommie. We've missed you!  :)

Whats the problem with her sister?

It may seem and feel too long but really time flies. Write her poems,go online, play... something... like basketball... and you'll see in no time she'll be back locked in your arms (that's the kind of things you write after watching shakespeare in love)

You make me jealous Sommie (what with all your "love" descriptions)... But its really nice to hear

but i just miss her so...she does too. she even flipped at her dad when she met him cause he was going to have her stay there till mid-august. so she told him that he either lets her go home in 2 or 3 weeks max or she will take legal action. you dont want to get her pissed off...

her sister is demonic, she is two years younger than her (14) and is like the complete opposite of my girlfriend. she drinks, smoked pot, gets around (seriously, she had sex before her sister...thats just creepy) and doesnt actually have like any boyfriend, just many many many friends with benefits. and to top it off, she gives my girlfriend crap about her friends and me. and i guess she has gone after me alot lately and my girlfriend cant take it anymore, so we have decided to come up with a plan to take her down a notch.

and its wonderful to hear from you too, KE

dont be too harsh on the little girl though, she is just 14. This is NOT from personal experience, but jealousy is a common thing between sisters especially when it comes to "cool achievements". She is probably jealous of her. (thats a lot of use of the word eh?).

I'd say just talk to her and make her see sense. You know, tell her that there is no point in doing wat she is doing.

By the way, your girl doesn't know/mind you are discssing you two...?

as in she doesnt mind me talking about us on here? no, not at all.

as for her sister, yes i realize that jealousy is a common practice among sisters but this isn't jealousy, she's just an a**hole. as my girlfriend put it "we are so different that if i wasnt related to her, theres no way in hell i would ever bother hanging out with her,"

for 14, she does alot of mess. my girlfriend expects her to be pregnant, drug-addict, alcoholic, or dropped out of high school and is living with a 22 year old boyfriend...by the time she's a junior in highschool. basic consensus, she's evil...or as close to evil as you can get in human form

hmm, now how do we smuggle her out of another state without being arrested for kidnapping

haha, doubtful. instead, me and her friends will come out to her if she cant come to us. but theres no reason why her step-mom should give her any crap. she has never done anything to deserve any of the crap she gets from her. she has the patience of a saint to take it for that long and only now flip out at her.
Posted by: Flaming Pie in the Sky, July 5, 2007, 6:13pm; Reply: 197
Yeah, go see her if she can't come to you. Then sneak out in the middle of the night and run away to Montana or something.

Posted by: Kaleidoscope_Eyes, July 6, 2007, 1:11am; Reply: 200
When is she suppose to come back?

And about contacting her- there's always an interent cafe... or the interenet at home.
Posted by: somedude210, July 6, 2007, 3:05am; Reply: 201
shes lost all rights to any form of communication except letters (hopefully, that wont also be taken away or else shes gonna go nuts, or something)

she was supposed to come back in august, but she told her dad that there is no way she and her sister are going to stay till august cause her stepmom is essentially hitler in drag. unfortunately, her mom refuses to let her come home early (granted, its only been 2 weeks) we'll see what happens if nothing happens in a few days. but im really starting to get worried about her.

if it seriously does get to bad, ill drive up there with her friends, if it gets worse, we'll bring her home with us

mm, they're currently at her grandmother's house, away from her dad's place (good thing) she is in much better spirits and is happy and no longer mean and whatnot. shes staying there till sat. it seems to be improving dramatically over what she was like yesterday afternoon.

this was all from 3 long messages she sent me via IM early this morning (3am)

mmm, she finally called (shes at her grandmother's house till tomorrow and her grandmother hates her stepmom, so her stepmom's punishment doesnt apply to her at her grandmother's place) and even though it was only 15 mins, it was still lovely. she sounded depressed still but i expect that i guess. i seem to cheer her up, even though my jokes are terrible, it seems to do the trick...god i love her...

an interesting thing happened (or at least it was to me) yesterday. I work at a church and sundays when i work, i set up baptisms and clean up afterward. well, i was cleaning yesterday (putting books away, moving table back to alter, getting water out of baptismal font) and theres no one in the church anyway. so i just start singing normally. well, i was had just locked the church doors and walked down the middle aisle (long way, like 400-500 feet) and i just started singing. so im singing to myself, johnny cash, u2 and some beatles. and going about my business when i stopped suddenly, i didnt realize it but i just started singing "All I Want Is You" which my girlfriend and i more or less made it our song cause it always reminds eachother of it and neither of us has consciously or unconsciously sang it or listen to it since she left 2 weeks ago. and so i was just standing there, in an empty church, singing this song that we both love listening to and singing together, and my mind felt so at ease, so peaceful. and i swear i could hear her singing next to me. then i also had the same thing with the song "the first time." and i just stood there for like 10 mins, it was a wonderfully tranquil time. it was just so surreal, ive never had a moment like that. maybe she really was singing along with me too, that'd be freakier if i get a letter saying "holy crap! i was singing those songs around that time too!!"

i'd probably continue to sing those for a good while if the priest that was on duty didnt come up to tell me that he was going out

shes home!! i talked to her tonight for a little over an hour. im going to her house tomorrow at 430 and not leaving until 10. i dont expect her and i to part from eachother when she greets me at the car for about 15 minutes

oh, and remember that surreal moment that i had last sunday where i just started singing songs that we didnt sing cause they reminded eachother about the other one well, i sent a letter to her detailing that moment. and she asked me tonight what time i was singing it, cause it happened to her too...same feeling, same tranquility, same feeling that the other was singing next to them...that was creepy...but cool

im having total geekiness moment. i'm building a computer to replace my 2-3 year old custom built computer. i got all the parts completely today. holy crap, i cant believe i'm building a computer as powerful as this on for myself

on top of all that, i finally ditched my 5 year old CRT monitor and got a 20' widescreen LCD monitor (which i am using right now) ....holy mother of god this thing is absolutely wonderful.

and to top it all off, my girlfriend (of all people) wants to join in the building of it. she finds computers absolutely fascinating and wants me to teach her what i can about everything and anything about them. on top of all of that,  shes coming over tomorrow at noon to build it with me, and then at 4 (whether we finish it or not) we're going down to waterfire with her mom and sister, her mom's boyfriend, his two sons and one of them is bringing his girlfriend.

oh god...this is going to be an absolute wonderful, wonderful day tomorrow. i cant wait.

i've been like holding back so much not to build it without her. love wins out over sheer ecstasy apparently ;D ;D

Anyroad up, unlike your gf and you, I know absoloutely zilch about compies (nevermind the fact I do IT and I teach a teacher how to use them....) so I hope you have fun building it up and that it will work properly.

So her mom is ok now, with the both of you? Waterfire.... its a nice place eh?  :P

how have you two been? i havent talked to you in a while PC and i havent heard the latest from you KE. enjoying yourself down there?

building a computer is actually quite easy. its just long and drawn out when you have to install windows which takes about as long as the physical building of the computer.

well no, between me and my girlfriend is lovely and fine and happy and joyous....just dealing with her mom that its gone downhill quickly. we've just basically lost all standing with her in a matter of two days (that was 2 weeks ago) and things havent improved. we've tried our damnest to get do anything to get on her good side or prove to her that we're not the scum that she thinks we are but its not happening. and what makes it worse is that she treats my girlfriend like mess. i mean its one thing to be disappointed and upset about it, but to insult her and treat her like this is unneccessary but she doesnt think that or doesnt think shes treating her like mess and thats whats pissing me off about her the most.

and if she denies her from going to a concert this weekend (which shes known about since like mid-august) i will either kick her a** or take her to the concert anyway, i freaking paid $330 for those tickets, shes going

no her mom loved me until the week before i moved into college. then she found out something and a. doesnt trust us and b. treats my girlfriend like crap. my girlfriends sister can get away with murder for kissing her moms a** but her sister is fucking nuts anyway. shes now forcing my girlfriend to go to a shrink cause shes not becoming her mom essentially. i think her mom needs the freaking shrink.

i have man, i love the girl, i love everything about her and i have no reason to break it off. her mom's just bloody nuts

she contacted my mom yesterday and said she wanted to talk to my parents. so she talked to my mom last night and is convinced that we're going behind her back any chance we can to have sex. and shes convinced that we're going to the concert tomorrow just to have sex, not because i got her the ticket for her birthday. my parents took this reasonably well. yea, theres the usual disappointment, but it really isnt that bad.

and my mom told my boss who's taking us to the concert, that she thinks my girlfrie
